I like seeing decently done box convertibles. Would have been nice to see the top in action on this one. I notice nobody ever converts a 1977-79 2dr into a convertible... While Im kinda glad Ive never seen one, Ive always thought with the big aerocoupe rear glass out of the car, there is a huge area for a folding top mechanism to fit in there just like on a donk. Then the rear seat leg room won’t have to be minimized like on this car. But to see a 1977-79 chopped up might hurt. Now if someone could figure out how to turn one into a vert and somehow still retain the aerocoupe rear glass with the top up, that would be the fucking shit.

If u look he did up grade the brakes. The calipers are Definately corvette or camaro two piston and he swapped the rear to disc as well and has slotted rotors all around.

It's a convertible not a rag top lol

The money spent on RIGHT-DRIVE should have went to something else.... BRAKES

Putting the stearing wheel on the right side is stupid as fuck. They only do that in other countries because they drive on a different side of the road than we do. The engine looks nice for show. He would get dusted racing someone like cut da check. Those huge engines with the crazy horse power, don't do nothing but spin the wheels when you don't have slicks on your car.

Your right. To each his own! I use to have a 78 Caprice Classic i put a BUILT 406 back in the early 90's. Burgundy 2 dr sport roof. Since "rims" wasn't a thing back in the day. I had FAT 15" tires on van ralleys! Just like that rear window. It makes the car.
