CRAZY Overgrown Rental PROPERTY gets Makeover | End of Lease CLEANUP!
The tenant who lives at this property needed an end of lease cleanup done to satisfying the real estate agent's inspection and get their bond back. The brief was to do a “tidy” up and make the side area as nice as possible. This was always going to be a difficult task because of the overgrown viney type plants (not sure what they are called). We did our best, and the customer was happy with the result in the end. This job took around 3 hours to complete, and we took out around 1 trailer load of green waste.

Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I'm not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!

Great job on a mostly disastrous overgrown area. And going above and beyond (gazebo clean up) is the best way to impress and keep customers who give positive referrals!
I can NOT get over how hard Brent works. That guys is a workhorse and does all the heavy lifting. The mileage he puts in and the amount he lifts and carries is insane.

Glad the tenants paid for this. We tenants aren't all lazy slobs. There's nothing I enjoy more than getting out and weeding, pruning, spraying, mowing.......fabulous. Great job as usual.

So many of the yards you do have rocks half buried all over place. Do they serve any purpose but to make yard maintenance so much more difficult? What a thorough job you do. Great to watch and see the transformation. I love how you do small sections at a time making it more manageable.

I'm always surprised, but shouldn't be, as to how lessees or renters live In disarray, and clutter, until the lease is coming to an end and then spend money cleaning it up.
At one time, this looks like it was a beautiful garden. The landlord may be in for a rude awakening.

About the best job you could do! That decorative IVY is the worst! Besides being a distructive plant. It's a pain to keep up with and just over runs everything. I'm surprised a rental having it. Most won't allow it from the ruining it does to thing's and since some are allergic reaction to it like poison ivy or sumac. Nicely done 👍

Can't make silk out of a sows ear but you gave it a hell of a shot. lol I'm a property manager. They would have lost their deposit and had to pay the yard maintenance people to fix this mess. Get rid of all those rocks and bricks. Nothing but a yardman's nightmare. Great job. Cleaning the gazebo is called lagniappe in Louisiana.
