@Benjamin Eby cant it be the fact that he has great concern for your soul and has great conviction to share God's love to all of us? It's up to you to believe or not, but God is real and true. Everything even the things you see everywhere shouts His glory. You can say I'm crazy but most scientist were able to prove what was mentioned in the Bible! IN THE BIBLE!!!!Just imagine that! No technology to see the Universe and yet was able to explain all things that came to being. So Francis Chan is def not faking it. It's not for media purposes. He cares about your soul

I just love your message here on utube and I have only one book although my Pastor Lenny has another that I will get from our church library asap. God is great and you bring him to reality although my heart brings him to life. Pastor Len and you just remind me to remember to seek God daily. Now I do. Thank you and your family for being here. I just purchased your book ,"Crazy Love" on an E-book from Google; and I am a Hebrew Christian being born in Israel and coming to America at the age of 14 being a Reformed Jew and receiving Jesus into my heart on Easter Sunday morning 2004, and believing the verse John 3:16, and God brought to my mind that Jesus is the Son of God the Father, and now I have a real relationship with God and am blessed to have Him for the last 14 years.

My first words, would be.."Thank you"..then I'll burst into tears.

One word Francis has really taught us-- REVERENCE

God took something out of my life that I really loved, and I complained about it, fell completly back to square one. But I thank God for this book, for reminding me who he is and the majesty he beholds.

“I love you!” Those would be my words the moment I was face to face with God

yes, I speak cantonese so I understand the prayer "thank you god for the food and bless the food with health amen"

This book Crazy Love has reminded me of my first love in my relationship with God. And if you find your life stuck in a rut of repetitive works, I encourage you to pick up this book with your Bible and let the words jump off the page and breathe new life into you as it takes you to a place of returning to your first love of Christ. God is bigger than your biggest problem. And His love for you is so strong you can only handle a drop of it at a time or you would melt in His glory.

First words out of my mouth would literally be, "Oh my God!" with feelings of awe, adoration, peace and joy.

I am totally late to the game here! I acquired the book and subsequent Bible study of this from my sister. She hadn't filled in the Bible study, so I am! I love doing studies in the morning before work. Finding studies that do not require being a part of a group or paying for video sessions, however, is difficult, and my budget is minimal. I bought over $40 worth of Bible study books last year from a discount Christian book supplier and have only been able to do a few because the sessions and questions don't make sense without the videos... and the video sessions were only availabe for purchases, either on actual DVDs to play at home or as online videos. Thank you Francis Chan for making these free and to afast26er for having all the sessions available in one spot.

When he started to talk about how he saw God with diamonds and things, my eyes and mouth were wide open, i've never in all my 15 years saw God as someone as amazing and big as that. I saw Him in such a meek comparrison to what Francis described and even THAT isnt all God, you can't imagine how great He REALLY is, wowowow.!!!!

Francis Chan simply keeps it real, glory to GOD for his life.

I have found an amazing life with God at the center... I am very blessed that he hears and answers my prayers, nothing short of miraculous!

I've been a Christian since I was a kid and I also have my own set of routine prayers, I completely relate to this! My only problem is that there are certain things I have to pray about every day (I don't remember a night in my life where I didn't pray for my parents and siblings and grandmother and the lost etc.). I've thought about changing it a bit but I just fall into another routine every time. I'm quite challenged though, I have to remember that God is a person and that I have a relationship with Him. I needed this !

I took this approach even in my singing of songs during church service. I am humbled and brought to tears each time. Thank you. It is humbling and wonderful to realize the power and the essence of who God is.

You are not alone... I cry in worship too

it's so important to remember who we are speaking too, yet we are so out of it to even think about even doing that! We kind of have to step back on a daily basis and stand in awe of the King who we are given the privilege to speak too!

My bible study leader sent this out to us on Facebook and all I could think of was "ugh I guess I shouold watch it" So I did and it was amazing. Thank you!

Amen!!!! I'm thankful I got to watch this and I"m reading the book CRAZY LOVE and I feel so inspired to start praying differently…and also challenged to think what I would really say to GOD. I think I would fall at my knees and say "You deserve my worship for you are GOD and it's all about you... not me. Thank you though for loving me enough to die for me and want a relationship with me. I want the best relationship with you I can have." And saying all that still wouldn't do God justice for who he really is but what I"m understanding about God is that he still loves me and wants to hear my prayers which really does blow my mind when I STOP TO THINK ABOUT IT. I always thought of myself as a pretty good person too especially compared to some people that I thought were pretty evil but the "STOP AND THINK ABOUT IT" video by Francis Chan really helped me understand that God doesn't compare me to people and he doesn't want me to compare myself to others and think I'm better because in reality I'm not better…I'm actually guilty just as much as anyone and everyone is guilty the bible says…but Jesus did pay for our sins and will consider us not guilty if we forgive and ask to be forgiven. I'm not trying to write a sermon, I just am blown away by how awesome and BIG our GOD really is and I hope and pray more people can know GOD better and see how amazing he really is and crave a relationship with him.

All I can say is whoa... never occurred to me either. God can create a new worship experience every time.

Just pray consciously, that was the message of this video summed up in 3 words.

this is how i pray when i was a kid, like i was talking to a person, and people told me i have awful prayers cause i don't follow the structure. i didn't know there was a structure and what too embarrassed to ask what it is so I went on doing on my prayer. now I realize it was actually okay not to follow structure as long as its heartfelt. thank you for this. :)

What a blessing... I needed this message... I used to pray every day and feel God very close to me, but for some reason, not having found the right church for me yet I have not prayed liked I used to before and after this message I just feel burning in my heart to pray like I used to again knowing that God is listening. "God you know my heart, I love you and want you to forgive all of my sins again, thank you for everything you continue to do in my life. In the name of Jesus I pray Amem"

I couldn't dare to move and my eyes started to tear as I recognized a piece of his glory. If only all men could have a taste or a sight of what he looks like. Today, Sunday 19 July 2020, is a fresh start for me. Back in the 1980s & early 1990s, when I was in my teens & early 20s (man, I feel old! haha) I had so much passion for God. Bu then I started to let life get in the way. Today, though, I am starting to mive back towards my first love, to fall in love with Him again. This video has helped with that. Thank-you, Francis Chan.

Yes Pastor Chan so true, thank you for sharing this and bringing it to light. It really changes your perspective of prayer. When in relationship with God it changes your prayer life, God wants us to have that father/child relationship with Him. We recognize His sovereignty, yes, and we come to Him as His children.

The kids & I studied " The Lords Prayer ". The ages were 7yr-10yrs. We took it verse by verse and discussed it in detail. To see them realize and have that "a ha" moment was so awesome! To see them learning & absorbing Gods will & word was fantastic. Whats great is that I learned something as well. It stood out to me " your will be done on earth as it is in heaven " I realized that means I better act on earth as if I'm already in heaven. So if I wouldn't do it in heaven don't do it on earth!

He allows me to Share my Hopes and Fears with Him and to use Him for my full Renewing in Jesus Mighty name. He calms my Storms and Leads me to Greener Pastures. When Mr. Chan asked, "what would be the first thing you would say?" I said, "Father...." That's as far as I got and so much love filled me all over. I know I am a child of God. The experience is just one more reason that I know God lives and that He really is my Father in Heaven.

Interesting I landed on this video this morning for my daily devotion. Last night something new happened. I haven’t been praying lately, so I decided to get on my knees in my bedroom and put some background worship instrumental on while I prayed. As I prayed, it became very intimate. After praying for a while I suddenly broke out in the most beautiful song. It was still praying, but I was singing, and it was absolutely the most beautiful wonderful experience I’ve ever had with the Lord. Now that was new experience! He will give you something new each time you ask.

Wow What a Revelation!!!

I was reading his book, "Crazy love" at lunch today and the power went out, i couldn't see a thing so i prayed in Jesus name to bring the lights on for the sake of learning about him. A minute went by and no lights. i said in my heart, "God, i'm losing my faith!" That moment one light turned on behind me, none of the rest turned on. Just enough light to continue reading, woo!

This was great! I thought about God being a Creator as far as giving me creative ideas when using my 'gifts' but not in prayer. I'm going to try it & I know this is about to be awesome. Don't box God in He's too BIG. I tell Him He said His thoughts are higher so prove it by allowing me to be an example. It's by FAITH. Trust HIM! This is so cool, I'm excited! Like a lil girl :)) LET'S EXPERIENCE GREATNESS 2GETHER!
