Having any people there at all without restraints defeats the whole purpose of the important job of the KINGS GAURD.. tourists unfortunately equates to chaos and disrespect. People should not be allowed to mull around where Guards are working. For the past few weeks I’ve been watching this chaos around the Buckingham Palace and it upsets me so much to witness the unbelievable degradation and ugliness of many many people. I will never visit the Buckingham palace just out of respect for those Guards. I don’t need to be there to add to the chaos and mayhem.

I am in the United States and I just can't believe the disrespect to these guards I really respect them not only for what they do but for being able to tolerate these stupid people... I don't think people should even be allowed to touch the horses and that there should be a box with a line that they're not allowed to cross to get so close

It's even sad that a disclaimer has to be given to adults! These are soldiers who are in duty and carrying weapons. This is not a tourist interaction attraction!

We loved visiting London.

Why do we have to watch it, on the screen the size of a postage stamp?

I truly believe the tourists think the guards and horses are there for their entertainment. That would account for the clapping, snickering, laughing, and general disrespect. As long as the tourists are allowed to approach the horses much less touch them, nothing will change. I feel so badly for the guards and horses for all they have to put up with each day. No wonder the horses are becoming irritable and biting.
