What a session! That screaming from reel is so additive. This is the third time I have come back to watch this. I also caught two kingies on the slim swimz (smaller 2.5inch one) before. For some reason, they just love the slim profile and went crazy for it.

I have no idea, but I've lost plenty this year but luckily most of the cost has been soft plastics and jigheads and the odd respool of braid.

Do you much luck fishing that section? Fairly close to me but never tried that spot.

Yes, it's a decent area and I've had a bit of luck in that section. It's a great bay to live close to.

Epic fight! I’m thinking of getting a Battler 2-4 rod and want to put a Daiwa ignis 2505 on, do you think it’s too big for the rod?

Thanks Philip! That's a decent pairing. The battler 2-4 rod does pair up ok with a 250X reel even though I prefer a 200X. It's got a nice zaion knob and is a very Iight reel for it's size. I actually had an Ignis 2003H on the same rod many years ago. Any reason why you are looking at an Ignis?

Hi Bilal, I just enjoy releasing them especially if I am not looking for a feed. I do keep the odd fish however so it's not just all catch and release.
