Probably one of the most unpredictable matches ever!
Idk why people doubt Paul, his technique is very versatile and probably is the best out of the Americans when it comes to that. Whiles the others seem to rely on physicality, Paul seems to play with more tactical sense despite his athleticism.
@got2bjosh
20 күн бұрын
Simple, he doesn't have the weapons to win against the very best. You only lean on roadrunner tennis when you lack powerful shots & a big serve. Yeah, he can make miracle run to the SF here & there, maybe make his way back up to 12 or thereabouts, & win some 250s, but at the end of the biggest tournaments, the very best WILL stop him.

Super tight match. Both could win. Hurkacz appreciating Paul’s shots 👍
Hurkacz is paying the bill for being too passive at times.
Tpaul can make the game look really easy, the delta though when he gets nervy he's got to tighten that up to start winning these big titles. Has all the ability.
I think Tommy Paul will win the tournament, if not Tsitsipas. I like a lot how Tommy plays; his athleticism is something to admire!

Both played trash except for maybe last game, Paul is losing next match if he plays lik that
Paul improves a lot last 2 years.
The fact Hubi got this far on clay is pretty mental.
That was entertaining! Paul really had to fight for that final point and the win.
I appreciate how tennis tv has so many fake comments and dodgy likes. Keep it up 😂😂
The picture quality is so bad, it reminds me of the old Betamax VHS tape recordings in the 70s
Tommy has the metal game down. Here’s hoping he can get through Jarry who’s like John Isner but can actually move well.
I woke up early for this? So many breaks of serve throughout, I thought I was watching a WTA match. If only Hobby had Igor's ruthless mentality, he too could win a Slam. Instead, Hurtcatch was in his beta, bottoming era & played way too passively against a messy, but more aggressive Toppy Paul. Completely forget how he played to beat Oldal & reach the QF. Hubcap should've taken a page out of Serverev's book to win: accelerate on the shots & maintain depth, duh. The Pole mainly just pushed his forehand around the court & decelerated on serve to fault into the net. The lack of pace allowed Paulina to dom top the match. It's tennis NOT rocket science. You're not being paid to be a head case on court. Just hit the darn ball & hit it hard! What's worse is Hurkace's coach, Jenny Craig Boytown, was too busy shaping his beard & secretly rooting for the American player to win to be of much help to Pierogi. Outside of the 2nd set, Craigslist didn't do enough to keep his charge's head in the game. Tried to save face & hold onto his job by speaking up in the 2nd set, but that was the bare minimum. Too little, too late. BOTH the Polish player & his complacent Americano coach were way too passive today & lost as a result. They were out-coached AND outplayed. If Hubble is serious about getting to the next level as a Top 10 player, Polemic needs to find someone who will keep him in a MORE aggressive mindset throughout these tougher matches & not just sit back as he flops. Five Years is long enough, Bjork. RL Stine did a MUCH better job to keep Pauline Kale in masc mode & they got the win as a result. Hopefully, the Jarred Olive Oil QF will be higher quality.

20 күн бұрын
@@VyomdevsinhJadeja The match started at 6am EST, so not too early, but still. When you're smart, stay in school, & write well, wordplay isn't exactly an exhausting, time consuming task. It was NOT a high quality match from either player, but Paulindrome hung in there. Hubi is the higher ranked player with MUCH bigger weapons. He really should've have won that match. The much quicker 6-3 2nd set shows what HubSpot is capable of when he's not busy being yet another Euro-tennis player head case.
Resistió a más no poder Hubi, pero terminó sucumbiendo ante la ofensiva de paul que lo doblegó, muy buen partido aunque perdió uno de mis jugadores favoritos 👍🏿👏🏿👏🏿😔
Hurkacz us frustrating sometimes. He takes to long to set up a shot and ends up with his opponent attacking first which usually throws off his rhythm. I'm definitely not a fan of Paul but credit to him for hanging tough.
