Wrong tip 1: Apply too many universities, you'll get in some. Instead do a bit more research about their last years/intakes cutoffs , check admitted students profile and match with yours. 5 unis are more than enough. I applied in 5 got admit from 4 , TUM, THI, THR, OTH , HAW HAMBURG (rejection). And my gpa is 2.0 (not excellent). Wrong tip 2: Opt for private Don't do that ,instead go for English speaking countries if you have to choose private. You can't manage tuition fees and living expenses. USA has a lot more opportunities and exposure than Germany. Its because of free education people come here. Don't loose on that offer. Wrong tip 3: Don't convert inr to eur and exaggerate. You wil earn in lakhs but also spend in lakhs. Use purchasing power parity calculator to get an idea.

Ummm to be honest whenever you ask 'How's the study life here in Germany' majority of the guests can't answer it clearly and openly! why? coz they know we Indians don't want to hear anything bad about our Country even we do not want to hear about clear drawback and things that are holding our countries growth. We always shout India is the best India is great and yes it's true India is great, but no working toward becoming greatest country. If these guest starts saying like 'Yes, German education is way better that Indian edu, we get to do practical, work life balance is really-really good' Indian people will abuse them for talking bad about India, they will say if it's that bad then never come back to India, leave our country. People will start abusing them on social media.

To all the students who want to come to Germany please don't listen to these influencers who said you can save x amount in a year. Yes tuition fees are almost negligible for public funded universities and the cost of living will be covered from the part time job but when you will have in mind that I have to save money then you will be under pressure. So before coming just be clear about that. Come here study well have a good life, manage the expenses

Cause in bachelor one can only do odd jobs which don't pay much, plus the language is required in most of these apart from deliveries. Masters students can get studentwerk jobs easily owing to bachelor experience which is very well paid( in IT jobs even german isn't required in most cases). The above isn't true in big cities like Munich, Frankfurt or Berlin.
