Well it's a very strong year. But last year was particularly weak. That's the thing - all depends on who's in it. Could be another poor year next season.

A a Spurs supporter have to say that the Championship , second division, really is far more interesting than the first division and I only have a very vague interest in Norwich City. Seen many brilliant games in this league this years. Good stuff for footy fans everywhere.

I don't generally like Boro, but that was a pretty good atmosphere. Also, we were all bashing VAR yesterday for "ruining" the game. That third Leeds goal is now your argument that VAR is good for the game.

No it isn't I prefer the idea of controversial goals after human judgement and error, the players shouldn't be punished for inept officiating. VAR seems to think having a toenail offside makes you offside which is of course totally nonsense, this was a classic example of what truly offside means and if a linesman cannot spot that he should probably be booking an appointment at Specsavers.

@@adamknight7041 Agreed, but if the referees' judgement is to prevail, there should be more discipline to stop players harassing them when they disagree with their decision ... much like rugby union. After all, communicating with the officials should be the exclusive perk of the captain and not anyone else.

Sunderland fan here: Leeds are the best team I've seen in the Champ this season and they deserve to go up ahead of Leicester. They're scary going forward and exciting to watch, as opposed to Leicester who, without Vardy, would be a mid-table side. Boro had a rough start to the season but have been excellent in the latter stages. Should've been nailed-on for the playoffs. Great game for the neutral.

thats the best part. It's football as it should be. Human error is part of the game and I find it refreshing to not have minutes of var checks.

"Today's game" is not a concept applicable to the Championshp. It all depends on the ref you get 😂 Anyway, that's a fair challenge. Not even Gnonto complained, I don't think he falls due to the push bur rather the challenge on the ball.

Carrick did excellent works for Boro

Why were the announcers so down on the keeper for that one goal? It was brilliant. Hard, curling shot, cut back against the net, shot between two defenders which were screening the keeper? That was rough!

A must win game for Leeds and for a change we won it! Fantastic game and atmosphere!

I hope that Leeds sign Latte Lath. Great little player and would add quality to our attack.

Because the two defenders and Gnonto were all running in opposite directions the moment the ball was passed and he was onside until that last moment when the pass was made, and linesmen aren't perfect, especially when other players (i.e. Bamford in this case) are obstructing their view. I'm actually impressed that assistant refs get their offside calls right as often as they do. Every team gets bad/lucky calls over a season.

What was the final score?

Love the Championship, but could we possibly get a score + time overlay on these?

Boro's 3rd choice reserve full backs were poor. If Ayling had been allowed to play and Engel was fit at left back then I think a couple of goals for Leeds would not have happened.

@@mrb7094 Just rewatched. The penalty shouldn't have really happened (glad it did mind) because we were offside on the lead up to the goal. Officials didn't catch that. Then the third goal was offside. So two goals really. Doesn't matter now, PREM HERE WE COME
