I know legally Cebu is the oldest city in the Philippines, but technically the district of Tondo in Manila existed since 900AD probably even older if there are more inscriptions to be unearthed.

Most of the foreign vloggers explored the attractions in the southern Part of Cebu. It has saturated youtube already. Try to explore the Northern parts of Cebu to be different. The northern most tip is Bantayan Island which is super amazing. You can also go to Malapascua Island. Exploring the Northwest municipalities is not a bad idea either. In Carmen, you can visit Cebu Safari and Adventure Park. It's a nice, world-class and well maintained zoo with a lots of adventure activities you can try. The road going north is more captivating than in the south. Worth mentioning is the road to Medellin. You can enjoy the views more if you drive your own vehicle.

Lots of activities to do here e.g. historical places to visit in the city are the Basilica del Sto Niño, Magellan's Cross, Fort San Pedro, Sandiego-Yap ancestral house are all within the downtown area. Eat Cebu's famous lechon at House of Lechon....Head south and do canyooneering at Badian, swim with whale sharks at Oslob or the sardine run at Moalboal. You can go north and visit the laid back vibes of beaches in Bantayan and Virgin island, Malapascua.....Mactan island where the international airport is, also boasts of world class beach resorts. Cebu offers both city and island vibe. Keep safe out there 😷

There are numerous resorts here in Mactan that you can go to, restaurants on top of the mountains overlooking the city, you can try lechon here, you can go swimming with the turtles & sardines in Moalboal, whale sharks in Oslob, go canyoneering & island hopping. You can visit Bantayan Island, Camotes Island, Malapascua Island and go on a food trip in Sugbo Mercado in the City. 😁

Thank you for that honest opinion shared about Philippine airports on how inconvenient it is when you dont know how it operates. Hopefully when the New Manila International Airport opens in five years tourists will no longer get inconvenienced. Was wondering if there was no direct flight to Cebu from Bkk. You can also fly out from Cebu and the new Clark Airport which is privately ran and the experience is much better with all the facilities and new restaurants. In the future, please ask us so that we can advice you what to do just like when you heeded my sfvice on the Pasig Ferry. Enjoy

Since you're now alone travelling, you could minimize the time you consume in your editing so that you could rest. Your cinematic shots/edits plus a raw video of your day to day moments/ interactions with locals or activities are enough for us to enjoy your vlogs! You could minimize the voice over (that takes a lot of time in editing) , since we'd like to see you do more of the talking in front of thr camera - as if you are just chatting with us through your camera! ☺️☺️☺️ that's more relatable for us!!!

It is quite funny to hear your experiences arriving into Manila. I was thinking whether are you aware of the connecting flights from MNL to CEB is via Terminal 4 .. which are 2 disconnected terminals and you will need to get onto a taxi to bring you there. - Circling around NAIA many times prior to landing is very normal. NAIA has only 2 runways; 1 for International and the other for Domestic flights. Runway congestion is very common at NAIA. - All the airport Terminals ARE NOT connected. All domestic flights are located at Terminal 4. Terminal 3 is closest to Resort World Manila (fyi). - Cebu International Airport is a MUCH BETTER airport compared to NAIA. Cebu is a beautiful island but it is also very susceptible to heavy traffic jams in the main city area. Getting around Cebu is literally AROUND, as the main highway spans AROUND the island. So be aware of traveling time :)
