Rachel Bloom breastfeeding in a middle of a live stream is a boss move. Also, it's her and the baby's right so yeah she did the right thing.

A lot of people talking about how sad it is that Santino wasn't there. Which it kind of is, BUT how great is it that this many people from CXG showed up for this? ... 12! That's huge. And this was the longest episode of Stars In The House this far. So many reasons to love the cast!

@@BronoTrigger Nope, there was no mentioning of Santino. Most of the cast only got to answer 1-2 questions so it makes sense there wouldn't be time to address that. I haven't seen any other interviews about the topic either

After skylar finishes singing and Vinnie says “love you skylar” then points up and says “love you Adam” 😭 my heart. RIP Adam

skylar’s rendition of what’ll it be made me super emotional. gosh just remembering the fantastic work adam did made me so sad, he passed far too soon

My conclusion to the audition stories is that no one could beat Santino’s Greg and that’s just great because I could never picture other person playing Nathaniel the way Scott did and Skylar did a fantastic job with Greg’s final arc. As for David he just rocks it as white Josh he played him so effortless, just amazing. All of them are great and I’m so thankful for them cause crazy ex turned out to be one of the best shows I’ve even seen.

Vinnie coming in clutch with the "i could if i wanted to reference" to old greg that skylar missed 👌

Also, I do love "old Greg" so much but Skylar has an amazing voice! Beautiful!

@@throwaway9720 oh I wasnt saying insulting to Santino, he agreed to it they asked him he didn't want to come back but tbh I would've been happy had they just written Greg off now thats just me but the idea of Greg moving to Atlanta getting a buisness degree, finding love and getting over his addiction was great they didnt need to show us I was happy enough with that Santino wanted to leave thats respectable but recasting an Iconic role and then telling people its stupid to not care that the Iconic role is just switched to another actor whether that actor is great phenomenal or ok its still a change to a character Santino defined

I miss this show so much! Casting for this show was faultless (I mean for even the smallest part) which is rare!

The best part is Rachel's discussion 13:00 to 22:30 of limerance, depression, serotonin, and how the writers asked mental health professionals to look at the scripts. The writers created the show and then perfected it and made it useful.

Rebecca should have ended up with- or at least leaned towards- Nathaniel and that is THAT.

Skylar not getting the "I could if I wanted to" reference is 1) devastaving 2) the reason they should have called Santino too and have two Gregs on I said what I said

Gracie Gooch not sure why, I saw him in Tootsie on Broadway and at stage door told him that I love I Gave You an UTI, the song just makes me so happy and it’s hilarious haha he was very surprised, not in a good way tbh, and said “really?!” Not trying to make him look bad, I love Santino so much and I love Greg because of him, I’m just guessing he wasn’t very invested in Greg as a character and the show🤷🏻‍♀️

Donna Lynn Champlin, your singing in the first episode brought me to the second episode and then I watched the entire series. I am a classically trained professional musician and I have a bit of a chip on my shoulder when watching singers on TV. As soon as I heard your voice, included as a main character, I had to see more. I couldn't wait to hear and see more of you. I adore you :)

I completely agree you. I just think that Skylar giving us this "too cool for Greg" idea sort of fits Greg's character development if that makes sense. The new Greg is indeed a different person in some aspects, isn't he?

@@eetdotcom I love to think that in reality, Greg ALWAYS looked like Skylar, but Rebecca's deliberate unwillingness to see him as a romantic interest warped his image in her head to Santino. I mean, I don't mean to belittle Santino in any way, Skylar is just objectively much more *conventionally* good looking, giving grounds for Paula's "he's so hot he should be a search term on porn sites" back in season 1.

I had my suspicious but it is great to see that the writers had this care or checking with specialists to bring up some topics. It’s a nice show. Made me laugh and cry a lot.

The bit about David not being cast for Greg cause he was too hot....... and Skylar is what?! xD He did a wonderful job picking up Original Greg's mannerisms, but it just never worked for me, cause he is. Way too Hollywood hot. C'mon. The bit near the finale, when they're discussing each candidate's advantages, and they say it's Josh's looks, and Nathanial's wealth, and Greg is... nothing? When Skylar is sitting right there, looking gorgeous? That gag would have worked on OG Greg, who just looks like a regular guy, but with Skylar it felt like a teenage movie makeover scene, where we're supposed to think the beautiful actress with the perfectly plucked eyebrows is ugly cause... she wears glasses.

I was lukewarm on him until "I Hate Everything But You". It's such a Greg song but it works with his voice. If he seemed more clean cut and less rough-edged than Santino Fontana, I just read it as showing how much Greg had grown since "I Could if I Wanted To". Fontana has an amazing voice but I disagree with the people who think Astin was a weak replacement.

I would have loved another hour and a half of this. I love everyone so much; they're all amazing. CXGF is such a special show. What'll It Be is probably my favorite song on the show. I agree about Santino. He seems to want to stay distant from the show now, which is a shame. He is sooo good. I'm basically rambling now. Omg I was just thinking the other day they should have a reunion and here it is! So happy, I miss them so much. Literally everyone should watch the show hope more and more people get to see it

I adored this! After being daunted by watching this for years (there are a lot of episodes and hype around it), I finally binged the entire series in one week during the first week of Covid quarantine and it was the best, most uplifting use of my time. I've since convinced over a dozen friends and family members to watch it too and everyone loves it! This reunion was so needed and perfectly timed. Everyone present is incredibly talented (not a single weak actor/performer in this bunch) and so charming. I really hope that Rachel creates another show or movie someday and casts as many of them as possible. In the mean time, I wish them all the best and thank them for being what I listen to on my hikes and at the gym! Also, Scott is forever my favorite.

No other cast or show has ever made me feel this happy, love you all!

I am so sorry that I missed watching this in real time, but I had a “pin in it “ to watch it when I was able to. I’m watching it now, and I’m so jazzed!! I was a fan from DAY 1 of “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” and so happy you were able to reunite this terrific and talented cast ❤️❤️💯💯💯❤️❤️. CXG was a vastly under rated show. The songs and comedy were great. All the actors were triple threats (singing, dancing, and acting). I'd like to see more from them, but I suppose the only place where they can fully utilize their talents is on Broadway (where a lot of them came from originally). Musical comedies are pretty rare on TV or cable.
