I fully support John's continued descent into crazy. "Because, you know. Screw it." 2:09
That build is rather creative and turned out well. Mario and donkey Kong was a good touch
I don't know how you don't have over 1 million subscribers. You do fantastic work, and your videos are fun to watch. Keep it up!

Thank you ziggy! We’re trying to get there !
Recommend using some glow powder in your epoxy to maintain that glow after the lights are out. It does a really cool effect. It seemed you were as excited as the dad in Christmas Story to get his leg lamp.
Had no idea where that was going. The end result is beautiful innovative and priceless. John you are an artist.

True, but how did you not know where it was going? You saw the title and the thumbnail, right!?
Use a slightly smaller acrylic tube up the center for the LED's. Before installing it, lightly sand blast it to get a frosted look. That should diffuse the LED's.
Probs gonna tell you something you already know. But here we go. There's a channel called something like the happy couple or something closeish to that lol he made a transparent table where he poured a huge square sheet of resin waited for it to dry enough that it was a solid but still floppy then draped it over a table blank waited for it to fully cure then removed the blank and polished the top. the 4 corners of the sheet touched the ground and made like an L shape they were the feet. You should give that a go i recon you could do it just as good as they did 🤙 (Edit: sorry they are called "Positive couple" and having said that your carving skills are always on point.)
You should do either a water geyser or a mushroom cloud table next!
Came here from BlackTail Studio and it's a complete 180° vibe but I greatly enjoy some woodworkers making beautiful pieces you'd see in a luxury home as well as woodworkers making more relatable pieces like John does

My 4 year old loves volcanoes, maybe it’s his destructive side. We watched this video together and he loved it. Now he wants me to make him one.
12:03 "we're just gonna stick it in there, mount it, hope everything turns out good" -- Everyone trying to stay entertained during lockdown
holy crap Aggro Crag, i forgot all about that show lol those were the days!!!
Man the Aggro crag that’s some nostalgia there! You should add some glow powder into you resin light it up without power. That shit looks cool man good job
John is so personal and unpredictable, probably why I like his channel so much! And I love to not only see the things he makes, but to also hear the crazy things that run through his mind!
Even a great life is only a life until you make it.
Definitely all original design. Well done John!
I Love John Malecki Videos ✌🏻
Would love to have a table like that for my son, he's five and that would be perfect for his dinosaurs.
Dante's Peak. Thanks for bringing that back from my childhood. That dude jumping from the transit car into the lava... jeez
5:44, "and I have to mask, because it's the apocalypse" 🤣🤣🤣

hahaha those really worked right !
Turned out very good, you could have just soaked some cloth in orange resin and draped it over a round disc though
Cam from Blacktail Studio use the wide plastic garden edging for circular epoxy pours spraying with mould release. it is cheap stiff. tough enough to screw into and comes rolled up so it is naturally inclined to take on the shape of a round form
Dude! I love the humor! Its amazing to keep happy and humorous at work! You get a job you love, you never work a day in your life
This guy kinda reminds me of Ben Affleck and Chris Pratt combined for some reason he looks built like Ben Affleck did in The Accountant and he's funny like Chris Pratt. But obviously little more skilled when it comes to working with his hands. Keep up the awesome work top 10 coolest tables I've seen
Super cool. You need to add some little trees towards the base of the mountain with a little truck driving away.
That was bad ass

I appreciate that my friend !
I am so glad I discovered your channel. I am a DIY grandpa who loves to create things and your creations are fantastic.
The fact that you made a Dante's Peak and a GUTS refference in the same video brings me a level of happiness that I did not expect... this was glorious. If only i had 750 bucks to thrown into making something like this.
Was not forced to watch Dante's Peak. But did watch it though, several times. It was a good movie.
Silliness! I love it
Just nuts. Love it.
Loved watching Dante's Peak. Cool table
Wow! I wouldn’t have believed it at the beginning but you pulled it off and it looks damn cool! Great job and your perseverance is a testament to the end result.
People that are innovators have to be creative. Thanks
ALWAYS REMEMBER TO LET YOUR MOLDS CURE WHEN USING CAULKING! IT IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS CURING THE RESIN CAST. Good video again.
"Its a major award!"
The end product is awesome, the process and means of getting there is even better. Great build John, your builds get me hype!
Turned out amazing, especially with the Mario decoration 😎 One tip for you lighting issue here.... line the hollow, or wrap the strip of LEDs, in Baking paper leaving as much air between as possible. It should diffuse the lights inside.
Great video! Eres un olimpo en la carpinteria!!! 🇩🇴👍🤣🦸♂️
Love it, it's original, unique, I would definitely put that in my living room
I just realize there is a link with Black Rifle! I'm a Corridor Digital fan. I've met BR through them, and instantly loved their work! Then youtube recommended your channel a few weeks ago, and now I can't stop watching your videos! Now I understand were your sympathy and humor comes from. You're great dude!🤘🏻
Tip for future led projects. If you want to diffuse the light roll celufane wrap and put it in the tube. It'll help diffuse the light. Play around with how much to use until you find the desired effect.
Here's some advice. So when a thick liquid droops off the edge, the drops are actually thicker at the bottom and more round. So they're thicker both in the side-to-side direction as well as outward. When you have a fountain it makes the same effect.
This is so creative and amazing. Thank you John!
I love the craziness. Please, Sir. I want some more. I enjoy seeing someone who can have a ton of fun. By the way, I love the movie Dante's Peak.
that table looks pretty sweet, love the enthusiasm and boundless personality you put into your vids. Now i must go out and buy power carving tools tho
Hey John from Australia. Never in a lifetime did it look like it was going to come out that good. Love it and if I saw it at a shop I would have to buy it.

Glad you enjoy it Sam, stay safe down under!
Couldn't really see but in case you aren't already I would strongly recommend adding a gas filter to your face mask if you are going to spend more time grinding/sanding resins. It's not only the dust that will get you it's the fumes/gasses.
Crazy design, glad you were able to come back from that first mold
Brilliant mold and cutting idea!!
Awesome build. For the diffusing light in the leg, instead of the metal conduit, you could grab a poly carbonate tube, and scuff up the outside of it. Don't need to remove it, it'll diffuse the light; pure win!
THAT OUTRO WAS SO GOOD
this channel is everything a woodworking channel should be. John you are the man!
Some good AvE terms used in this vijeo. Skookum as frig!

Ahhh, volcano. Nice school project!!
Amazing table . I love that .
That turned out pretty damn awesome. I would so buy that if I saw it for sale somewhere... Great job John!
I absolutely love his videos so inspirational so crazie so intuitive And so inspiration.also makes you feel right at home keep up the excellent work maybe one day we can work together. I'm doing something crazy
Dude that’s hella unique... nice job that’s badass
This is the single coolest epoxy project I've ever seen lol Absolutely amazing
I absolutely love this table

You could put a bright led light just at the base and point it up it would light up the epoxy . Love the table it's so much fun
started watching your channel and really impressed with this, thinking outside of the box. Well done on a fantastic piece! As a Brit, that 'Get Squirrelly' logo is brilliant, and would look great on either a sticker, or blue tishirt, which I'd buy!
8:21 Nice Matt Mulholland recorder cameo there for the dumpster toss, lol

Wow you guys have came a long ways. It was cool to see you make a table with lesser tools than you have now tho!
Loved Dante's Peak. Would have loved to have watched that in middle or high school. Sadly they only started letting us watch actual movies for class in my senior year. :(
Absolutely bloody superb!! 👏👏👏👏🏆
Dude this was so creative-badass, also can’t thank you enough for leaving in the trial and error. Personally love seeing the process!
Love you guys and great work!!!! Maybe a little list on man hours and materials for the newbies out there so they know what there getting into
Strange...I just got an email from a Mister John Malecki recommending me to watch one of his favorite projects to date...the Epoxy Volcano End Table. I think it definitely needs to be lit up for sure. Looks great!
for the lights what you could have done was add a small lamp in a cutout of the shaft so it diffused better, as well as the conduit you put would allow the light to travel up the shaft i know im a tad late on this but loved the build, and the final product looks amazing
One the most entertaining KZread maker channels out there right now. Keep up the great content John!
Drill and put LEDs into it too and down the middle base from the vocano it will add the effect when at night in the dark too.
Just by the intro I’m sold. This is now my favorite resin artist KZreadr :)
I like how you show us mistakes it help us guys keep it up
Love it! Looks way kooler than my Leg Lamp from "Christmas Story"
You just unlocked a memory for me, I also got forced to watch dante's peak in middle school. That was some deep memory and now I dont know how I feel about it.
I actually like this plastic project 👍👍👍👍
I was really iffy on that that turned out fantastic it's a great job that looks fantastic
Dante's Peak is a great movie, I love it. Coffee coffee coffee cappuccino
you should make a bar stool out of the resin left in the bucket
Amazing love it, i do have a question, what are you spraying at the end of the project?
That is a awesome table

Tliver that you show mistakes! RESPECT
Great video. I do think the 'lava' would've been better with some red in it, and if the drips of lava were a little more drippy, but it's still a neat project (I'm just OCD)... LoL
Bonjour Monsieur beau travail superbe 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Dude that is sick. How many labour hours went into this? I love how you constantly adapt and overcome in projects.
