Recommend using some glow powder in your epoxy to maintain that glow after the lights are out. It does a really cool effect. It seemed you were as excited as the dad in Christmas Story to get his leg lamp.

Use a slightly smaller acrylic tube up the center for the LED's. Before installing it, lightly sand blast it to get a frosted look. That should diffuse the LED's.

Probs gonna tell you something you already know. But here we go. There's a channel called something like the happy couple or something closeish to that lol he made a transparent table where he poured a huge square sheet of resin waited for it to dry enough that it was a solid but still floppy then draped it over a table blank waited for it to fully cure then removed the blank and polished the top. the 4 corners of the sheet touched the ground and made like an L shape they were the feet. You should give that a go i recon you could do it just as good as they did 🤙 (Edit: sorry they are called "Positive couple" and having said that your carving skills are always on point.)

Tip for future led projects. If you want to diffuse the light roll celufane wrap and put it in the tube. It'll help diffuse the light. Play around with how much to use until you find the desired effect.

Here's some advice. So when a thick liquid droops off the edge, the drops are actually thicker at the bottom and more round. So they're thicker both in the side-to-side direction as well as outward. When you have a fountain it makes the same effect.

Couldn't really see but in case you aren't already I would strongly recommend adding a gas filter to your face mask if you are going to spend more time grinding/sanding resins. It's not only the dust that will get you it's the fumes/gasses.

Awesome build. For the diffusing light in the leg, instead of the metal conduit, you could grab a poly carbonate tube, and scuff up the outside of it. Don't need to remove it, it'll diffuse the light; pure win!
