My Pastor's wife told us one time in our study session "Even though you know we (The Pastor and her) love you, is your responsibility as followers and children of God to study your bible after each sermon or study session, to double check if what we are teaching you is the truth". I've been very sick today, and as my vision was going black and I felt like I was going to faint in the bathroom I called out to God and said "God, please help!" I was able to get my body back to the safety of bed without losing consciousness. I fell asleep quickly and when I woke up I felt so much better. I believe God helped me in that moment.

I do agree that some populations in Africa are deceived as a result of illiteracy (a small minority I dare say), but I'll have you know that there are some African countries that have higher literacy levels than some Western countries; please check this fact if you doubt me, so the issue of false prophets deceiving believers is a worldwide problem and not an African one. If you're literate but choose not to read your Bible, then you would not know GOD'S Word and, as such, would be at risk of deception. There are too many 'lazy' Christians across the world; too lazy to read and study the Bible 'to show themselves approved', so the issue of illiteracy across the world (including some parts of Africa) is only a small aspect of the problem. If, according to you (which I dispute), illiteracy were the African excuse, then what would be that of the West where similar deception by false preachers is taking place?

The institutional church is the most dangerous place to be 99% preach some form of a works based gospel. While I agree that most televangelists are scamming with blasphemy, I have to say, you're not any safer on youtube. It's a mine field full of channels doing the same thing. Many of them have thumbnails that say things like "God says you'll go to hell if you skip this video" Then they have bots in the comments saying "like if you love God" to gain popularity status for algorithm boost, because they know everyone is going to like the comment.

I have had this same argument with my friend. We are both Christians and always share what the Lord has revealed to us or what we've read in Scripture. She believes that it is God's Will that all be healed. I have to agree with you. I have an illness I have to deal with every day, but God has used it to be an encouragement to people fighting this same fight. Through it, He has grown me closer to Him. I think of what God told Paul, "My grace is sufficient for thee, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." I do believe with all my heart that if it was God's Will that I be healed tomorrow, I would be. I also know that God has a plan for me and this is a part of it.

When I Became a Christian, my husband and I Found Copeland's ministry, and we started watching it a lot. And then Holy Spirit over time as I was gaining wisdom through prayer and God's word he showed me that this was wrong not biblical but My husband still to this day years later watches him a lot I tried to show my husband with scripture how copeland is a false teacher but my husband is adamant that Kenneth Copeland is a good Christian man and he refuses to stop watching him. I pray that Holy Spirit opens his eyes Please pray for my husband.

neither you should lean on the "preachers" understandings". Your understanding SHOULD lean on the Scriptures. 2 Tim 3:16 ": ALL SCRIPTURES is inspired of GOD and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for SETTING THINGS STRAIGHT..." Matthew 5:5 & Acts 3:6💡💡 I went through a mentorship program and we were taught to remove our ego, pride, & need for social status. Greed & materialism is ruining people. It’d be wise to seek wise counsel, repent, & be transformed by the renewing of your mind. God is real and He is coming back.💯💯

So after COVID, I'm looking to find a church, so I go to this church, and I never hear them speak one word of Jesus. A guy was prophesying over people, and they were so excited about him, but no one was excited about Jesus. I knew in my spirit I just had to get up and walk out, and that's exactly what I did.

That's exactly what Jesus talked about except for KZread channels like this, I can't find anywhere else to get the truth(other than the bible), where I reside, preachers teach from the world instead of the word of God (fully), I leave in a society where so called pastor's tell boys to bring their phones for praying inorder for them to have to successfully scam other people online of their hard earned money and sometimes when I get into this churches, what I observe is that the members in the church are disturbed by their conscience, but they just ignore it, like a background noise

Jesus said my sheep know my voice and they will not follow another. And his people perish for lack of knowledge. So if these people could hear his voice, which is the Word of God, they would not be lacking knowledge. But they can't hear the word of God, because they are not his sheep.

Manifestations of demonic activity. Nearly 50 years ago two friends and I set off for to find a church to visit, asking the Holy Spirit to show us which church to go to. We did know of one church in the area we were staying so headed in that direction. We were passing a different church and we all agreed we should go there. The same things you experienced happened and we were going to leave but the Holy Spirit impressed upon us to stay, observe and learn. This kind of manifestation would increase and many would be led astray. How anyone who reads the Bible cannot discern these are works of darkness is beyond belief but multitudes are being led on the wide way which leads to destruction. Very distressing,

@susisjardin2459 It's very distressing and disappointing. I have not ever been one to follow movements, and I could care even less what's " trending." Every morning, I pray that He sharpens my discernment. The Holy Spirit will show us if we ask him. We have to have not only a relationship with the Lord but also our Bibles. It's our weapon. And it's a shame that most people don't use it as such. The Word is my good to.

The key is to read God's word and apply it in our hearts

My partner who has NEVER said he’s a believer out loud, recently prayed over me for a removal of pain. The next day today I was able to walk without pain. ( it’s bad). And I told him. And then he says ni prayed over you in Jesus’s Christs name. I was astounded. And then he added don’t tell anyone please. Well you don’t know who he is. I’m thrilled. Because I’ve spent 17 years praying for him, that he will come to know Jesus Christ only begotten son of God.

That’s very touching. I was a non-believer. My practice was Satsang. Never did I ever think that I would become a Christian. One evening, my daughter had her finger ripped off. As she was in emergency care, I felt the presence of Our God. I didn’t bargain or anything like that. I felt the deep shame of the life that I have lived and the gratitude that God had rescued my soul through his Son, Jesus Christ. Since that day, I have been walking with God. He has helped me to clear up sin in my life. He has humbled me. My daughter suffered this atrocious accident which brought me to God, and yet, she is a non-believer. I pray that she will come to God. And, I pray for her healing.

On March 26th 2022, just past midnight, I was laying restless in bed, and I had a heart attack. My arms and legs became tingly and numb, then my chest got tighter, and then my heart felt like it was being crushed. So I sang out to God and Jesus, about my pain, my feelings, my faults and my inabilities. As I sang, I began to feel like a river, and a hand was on my back, it's fingers where skimming the surface, separating the waters, causing ripples through my body. Then His hand reached inside, lit my heart on fire, and the heat moved like waves through my body. When I was done singing, all the pain was gone, and I looked at the clock, it was past 1am, I had been singing near an hour. Then the voice of my guardian angel called my name from above, and there was a hymn of energy in the air, the same hymn I hear in my dreams of God. Hallelujah for the Lord my God! Hallelujah for His son Jesus! Hallelujah for every day! Hallelujah for every breath!

What was the EKG reading and troponin reading. I'm not questioning that God cannot heal but you knew you were having a heart attack and not a pocket of gas how exactly? Most chest pain is not a heart attack and without diagnostic studies to support this there is no proof you had a heart attack. RN with 35 years in healthcare. The symptoms you described could be about 20 different things. Without diagnostic confirmation you have no idea you had a heart attack.

Even in the First Church period of Paul and the surviving apostles, Paul warned about false teachers and would be leaders. So, it's nothing new. It is just more wide spread, after 2000 yrs. The answer is ALWAYS the same - Jesus! Time after time, the Apostles have admonished the early Church to cling to and KNOW Jesus! This problem is easily resolveable if we take our Church Father's advice! Shallow believers who know their members and pastors more than Jesus, is the problem.

You are a great teacher. I followed all of these false "preachers" when I first became a Christian. I sent them all of my money, money that I didn't have, because I thought that's what God wanted me to do. I thought I was pleasing Him, but God had mercy on me and removed the veil from my eyes and showed me that they were liars and not teaching the word of the one true God. For three years now I have been in His word and walking in His path. Not only have I stopped following those liars, I have more discernment in choosing which church to attend and I search the scriptures endlessly. I am still a baby Christian, but I am no longer blind & deceived. God saved me 2000 years ago when He sent His only begotten Son here to take my place on that cross, and He saved me again when I was worshiping false "gods" and false teachers. It’s so crazy how divided the christian faith has become over the years. As someone who grew up in a christian home, I find it hard nowadays to know who or which church you can trust. I turn to the Lord for wisdom and the spirit of discernment. Also right now I’m in a more conservative church and love it there. I can see how close to the bible they are behaving and teaching! We don’t have to go to church on Sundays for a good show, it’s all about Jesus!!❤️💯

Was the preacher smacking people on their foreheads? Lol I joke, but I've experienced a church like this myself. I went to church with my sister-in-law & after service the "preacher" called everyone to the front to pray. It was a very small church so everyone circled around him & bowed their heads. However, instead of praying, he started speaking in so-called tongues, walking around & smacking everyone on their foreheads. I felt wildly uncomfortable & immediately began praying; every time he smacked someone they fell on the floor & started convulsing. When he reached me & tried the same, I continued praying & just looked at him. He paused, looked back at me & I know this sounds a little crazy, but I literally saw demons peeking out of this man's eyes & they were seriously angry. After maybe 30 seconds of us staring at one another, he moved on - and the ONLY people that didn't flop around on the floor & mumble in some demonic language they claim are "tongues," was my daughter, my sister-in-law & myself. I didn't say anything to my sister-in-law right away, I didn't want to offend her, but we didn't go back (we also moved). A few months later she reached out to me & told me she left that church, she said that she started feeling as if the preacher & many within the church were possessed. I had been praying that God would reveal that to her & He is always faithful. I wasn't even a strong Christian back then, but it was incredibly obvious to me that something wasn't right, I don't understand how Holy Spirit filled Christians get sucked into that mess - it makes me wonder if they're truly saved at all. Hopefully the preacher & the members of that church have been healed by now. **Edit: Sorry for writing a book! 😂

make sure that WHAT YOU HEAR from your preacher is and MUST be scripturally supported, don't allow for EXCEPTIONS, otherwise that preacher creates a NEW VERSION OF RELIGION...be careful....literally EVERY preacher's claim has to (it's not an optional..) MUST much with the scriptures like a FINGERPRINTS with the original. You should also yourself CHECK with the scriptures if whether whatever a preacher claim is scriptural.

I don’t believe in any preachers I believe in Jesus Christ. It’s too many false preachers and they are preaching against God. I listen carefully before saying Amen. My hope and trust is in Jesus and I am proud to have Jesus in my life
