To be fair, those are still valid questions. We cannot act like people aren’t responsible for who they are intimate with and spent time with. Obviously the husbands actions are inexcusable, but I find acting like she couldn’t have seen the signs along the way is a stretch. It’s difficult living with someone for years and not seeing anything. Our own protection and social circle is primarily our own responsibility. My wife and I just had our first child. She was so excited to breast feed but within a week she stopped producing milk and we had to go on straight formula. It makes her feel useless as a mom. The fact that this dude acted this way to the mother of his child who is already going through a lot is psychotic. Having a healthy child and being able to breast feed it is a blessing that you need to be thankful for.

My wife and I have 2 kids, 3 and 2 now. She always wanted to breast feed, and she tried and tried and tried. But she just never had milk, or enough milk. She couldn't even pump out more than 1oz after I bought a plug in pump. She was depressed and cried because she felt the same way as your wife. Both kids had formula since they were born but only as a necessity. We both (her mostly obviously for the bonding, but me because I know she would have felt much better about herself at the time) missed out on that beautiful stage raising our children. But the kids are the greatest blessings we've ever had.

i doubt the court would let him if that's the REASON OF DIVORCE. no way the court (which tends to give the custody to women because men don't step up or a just awful) would give him custody after this meltdown. "i now no longer enjoy your boobs" is a good reason to think he's not fit as a parent.

Omg I have been through a relationship with a “man” similar to this. Him divorcing her is for the best. She’s probably so beat down verbally by him. Also I wouldn’t doubt if she went as far as to tell hospital staff that she didn’t feel safe that he was physically abusive as well. This is based upon my own personal experience with “men” that act like this. I feel for this woman and I hope she find a good man.

I've seen many guys hide their red flags until after the marriage. That's how many got stuck with them. It's part of why I'm so scared of getting in a relationship with men (I'm a girl). Also, I personally would be too scared and broken down to fight. Feel hopeless and despair. I think she felt something similar. Poor girl.

I- wtf.... first, calling your newborn child "another man" is fucking WILD, second of all, being JEALOUS of HIS. NEWBORN. SON. IS. LITERALLY. INSANE.

The crazy thing is, I know at least 4 moms personally who had the same experience of their husbands refusing to allow them to BF their infant children. Some couldn’t at all because of their husbands and one was told to stop at 6 months and move onto only solids and formula. It’s actually horrible that men are “allowed” to make this decision for their wives and children. And so many women are afraid to argue against it for this reason - the fear that their husbands will leave them over it.

the "please dont be mad at me" message from her makes me think that not only is her husband clinically insane but he could be physically abusive as well, and it breaks my heart. i hope shes safe as well as her children
