Based on my experience, drivers of non-airconditioned buses are generally speed freak, daredevil ones or loko-loko drivers while drivers of airconditioned buses are cool, smooth drivers or sane drivers. I can only surmise that the cold temperature inside an airconditioned bus makes the driver cool-headed while the warm temperature inside a non-airconditioned makes the driver uneasy, uncomfortable, thus loko-loko.

Besides what you said , non a/c buses stop at too many places which means they need to cover the distance much faster even at the expense of safety of lives.

You guys should have taken the Aircon Bus because Non-Aircon means your on the rush in the Philippines.. It's cheaper but fast and sacrificing comfort. More fun in the Philippines!

@@sherinick7523 well at least can get to where you need to be quicker this way, in Central London they make us pay congestion to sit in traffic lol.Traffic in London is dreadful at times so if everyone would be more like Philipino drivers we would get to where we need to be quicker lol. The places which Ali and Harry has been in Philippines look like paradise especially the beaches ⛱️.

The 3 of you are having so much fun riding the buses, tricycles, & jeepneys. The Moalboal folks must have been sad to see you go. Ali, I was laughing when you ordered the chicken stick and you said, “to go.” Then, the lady said, “I’ll put the chicken here (in the container) and I’ll “labay” (meaning “throw”) the stick. You were puzzled and didn’t understand the word “labay”, so she demonstrated that she’ll throw the stick in the garbage. The next customer was laughing at her mixed English. She did try her best, though. I speak the same language that’s why I was tickled. The language in Cebu is called “Cebuano.” It’s very different from Tagalog which is the language in Manila. Way to go, Ali! -Ava

Mini-buses from small/medium operators are crazier. Ceres bus drivers are okay but not all. Lastly, Julie's Bakeshop originated in Cebu and could be 1 of the most popular in the country.

16:10 Usually busses race with busses. In 🇱🇰 its always a race if a Red Colour government bus & a private bus meet on the same timing. But if they get challenged they'd race with lorries too.

I think when Ali says” the bench is more stable than his life “ was a realization that he should take a break on vlogging: hope the Philipine series didn’t make him a hard time over enjoying it, theres a lot of circumstances happened during his journey in Philippines like crashing on bike, dangerous and crazy crazy rides , trekking mountains which he bravely conquer thou he has a fear of heights..but you are not force to do so..the interaction / communicating with locals of country you’ve visited is more than enough i think , thats why you reached the goals of 100k subs in a span of a month because they already like and enjoyed your videos..when time comes & you’re ready again to hold that camera your followers will be more than happy to see an Ali version 2.0..💪🏻🤪the macho man..🤣✌️

I disagree with you. Driving crazy like a maniac knowing there’s 50 lives in the bus just to get to your distination fast & come home is unacceptable. No drivers should drive like that. If youre too tired or already tired for the day then you should stay home.

I guess the "craziness" you experienced in that bus is contributed more by your seating location at the back. Usually, the last 3-4 back rows will give you more bouncy/springy experience compared to the other rows because the back portion absorbs all of the shocks coming from the front. On some vehicles, like the L300 vans, the owner will even put additional suspension rings at the bottom of the back portion in order to increase the shock absorption. Of course, add to that how fast the drive is. But usually, the company of that yellow bus you took monitors their drivers so that they don't overspeed above their set standard. Or maybe the driver is trying to catch up the return schedule of the bus so he can go home and rest early in preparation for the following day of work. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I can hear her murmoring in the background asking for help from Mother of Perpetual help ( in their local dialect) because she's running out of her packed English, lol! I grew up in a town called Barili. It's located in the South, maybe 3 or towns after Moalboal. Growing up there was no air-conditioned busses.

busses here in the Philippines were crazy as hell before, till the government ruled them to have a maximum speed of 80km/hr because of so many accidents they involved to by rushing too much, they were like racing on a busy road or even narrow road, competing for the passenger/time travel

Agree. Even in Manila, the expressways have speed limit but some drivers are crazy. Before the EDSA (Manila) busway, buses just pick and stop anywhere in the road. Since two years ago, the govt put a special lane at the inner road beside the MRT 3. It put a stop to craziness but a few still violate for the speed limit.

That's one hell of a ride😂 To be honest, there are many drivers of ordinary buses are driving so fast because they are trying to beat the traffic to be able to have a chance of another route to earn more. The more passengers they have, the drivers and conductors could at least earn extra. Secondly, due to traffic conditions also, most passengers prefer fast drivers because they want to reach their destinations as fast as they could. Thirdly, the cost of fuels are too high and they want to get even at least. Of course, I do not agree with it because it is dangerous. By the way, please do not put your head/hands outside because it is prohibited and dangerous. Since you are an influencer, please be a good example to the people as disciplined. Thank you.😊
