Your outlook and explanation of 4WS is spot on. It’s a whole other mindset. When I get a 4WS rig out, I’m twisting knobs and wheels like I’m a DJ out here on the rocks! If ya didn’t know exactly what you’re looking at, I’m sure it’d look like the driver is just needlessly oversteering both axles the whole time. It is definitely a fine line when searching for that bite. I always enjoy a good 4WS session!
Agreed, those wheels do look good on Z’Berg.
I’ve got baja pro x tires on a couple rigs……VRD carbon and my scx6…. Awesome tires for just about everything ……both sets are getting broken in and working even better.
I have some Pro x for my stretched Capra, not on it all the time though, Tusk LPs for daily. KLOS was always my station when I lived where I could get it.
A fortuitously timed review, being in the market for some 2.2s. These would be contenders if they were 10mm less in diameter and 5mm narrower. Ah well, such is life. Thanks for another informative review!
I was thinking low riders bouncing around were cool....well, hold my LiPo and check out Zoidberg breakdancing in here!!! It was awesome😍🤣
My Axial Yeti XL would sport those to the park on Saturdays maybe twice on Sundays...
Hey we have the AliExpress knockoffs of those! Well we had them. Now a landfill somewhere owns them.
its a good looking tire. they would probably look good on my leagendary rango
Bro! Script writers and musicians should be looking at this channel. You have a way of over explaining the most simplest shit, that it is truly an Art form.
Top notch commentary on this one. 🤣
way too greasy, struggled alot on simple low height per the tire size obstacles to find any traction. surprisingly lower then expected performance honestly. 4ws just couldnt help the tire, kinda changed the testing lol. Had no idea and perfect way to see is in the testing.... excellent as always.
morning gents😊
It's simple, I see a canyon video I hit like.
Some U4 and Top Truck things require a licensed tire. Like most scale things, unless I really wanted the look, that would be a reason for me to skip on a JCon tire

I sure do love me some collusion between manufacturers and organizing bodies.
Basically yea the ryft and any sort of rock bouncer these will be great for😂 I'm either getting these or the swampers for my ryft or hell just both😂 and I think the stock foam will actually be perfect for rock bouncing.

You also have to try some 1.9 boggers on a 14 inch wheelbase👌 I got my gladiator just over 10 inches wide outside tire to outside. Super nice sidehill too on stock foam and vented in the tire. I've really been enjoying having that much sidewall it's basically a hook if you grab anything it's pulling it.
they do look better on him than Ruptures - he looks more "scalish" kinda
Zoidberg is 350mm WB? I got mine to 360mm, and I though Zoidberg would have a longer WB than mine... I dont have nearly as challenging rocks as you have, but for what im seeing, maybe a tiny bit longer WB could benefit Zoidberg? Now im even more curious to visit the Canyon and compare mine with yours (mine has wayyy worse parts ofc 🤣) The rainbow wheels with silver would look amazing on him, rainbow and black doesnt look as good to me IMO, these tires need a 4ws rig 25:56 the guy with monster truck tires doing monster truck things!! 29:00 I have only two rigs, and one of them is supposed to fit that size of tires 😎 Its a shame they are EXPENSIVE About the spreadsheet, do you want a 95.5 tire? You have 5 of them, at 16th place, these included. They get 35th place on the price/performance ranking tho (tied with Lampreys), and the worst tire is at 37th place...
rc4wd 2.2" Baja Pro X
Ihave a Gmade GOM with the baja Claw installed and I have been think about these tires. It's a big rig and i don't know what 2.2 i should buy besides these....
While I agree with most of your tire reviews, this one I'm going to have to disagree with. I have the 2.2 Baja Pro Xs on my Axial Bomber which is fitted with a HW Fusion SE and I have to say, even with the stock foams, it's a point and shoot tire on my bomber. It may have something to do with the weight of the vehicle, seeing how a large chunk of my bomber has been upgraded (trailing arms, front suspension arms, etc.), I think it's a great rock crawling tire for it's size. I also have the big 1.9 Baja Pro Xs on a RPRC build of mine, and I absolutely love them. It may be perhaps the terrain, but the Baja Pro X, after a few runs on them, are no slouch.

The Pro X is a rock crawling tire in my experience. The lug is far too big, and G8 is rapidly becoming the poster child for outdated compounds. So long as JConcepts is making full-size 2.2s, the only reason to buy a 2.2 Pro X is because you like the look. Performance-wise, they're just not there.
Thanks for the vid! Your insight and opinion is always appreciated! Crawl On!
If you're building a WLORW replica, this is the best tire.
I see alot of these bigger tires on rock bouncing buggys
