Crawler Canyon It Came From the LiveStream (ICFTLS): VRD Carbon

Фильм және анимация

It's not a quickview, it's not a proper build, it's an assembly with a bit of paint. It's also really good.

    I think paint job looks primo. Never met an S8E that didn't leak regardless of orientation, but that's why Dravtechs exist. A shame, because they're otherwise good shocks. I agree about the Stance and besides, who doesn't want the fun of building their own? Been debating a VRD since they came out, and this may have tipped the scales. Thanks for all you do for the hobby.

    That Cliffhanger is thin, and I get this feeling that the "tough color" polycarbonate isn't quite as tough as the clear stuff. But respect where respect is due, a comp body should be as light as possible inside the rules, so ProLine go something right for once.

    Do you think this would do even better on the new Injora XHX S5 compound pin tires?

  • @CrawlerCanyon

    @CrawlerCanyon

    Ай бұрын

    The S5 pins are indeed a better tire, but it's not like the difference between a so-so tire and a good one. They might be the maximum drive on something just right, and they get outdone by the Comp Pin on a different day. If I were buying right now for a VRD build, I would personally go for the XHX Pin. But it wouldn't be a huge leap forward. Just a bit better. For the same cost, so why not?

    Nay, that be the Airbus H125 known as 40-King, the everyday helicopter in use by the San Bernardino Count Sheriff's Department. Best as I can tell, it's just burning fuel and making a bunch of noise-- it's a three-bladed setup, which is why I think it's so loud. They also operate a Subaru Bell 412EPX (modernized Huey, basically) for S&R, and it's four-bladed and seems quieter. At least a little. All of the Life Flight helicopters are four-bladed and fast. They zing right over.

The VRD is purpose built for a specific purpose-- had I to choose between only a VRD or a Phoenix, I take the Phoenix every time. Because versatility.
