Believe this Jen, you're not socially awkward, you're an introvert and more comfortable with being alone. Some folks spend much time disguising their uncomfortableness, while others become comfortable with who they are as introverts. I believe those of us who are natural introverts really do feel most comfortable alone more often than not and you should welcome it. It's truly a blessing and no one should ever convince you otherwise. It's actually a gift, able to be alone with yourself and function perfectly well. It is a gift, you're not broken, nothing to fix. You're one of the lucky ones.

I think it is easy to be outgoing with strangers because there is less judgement and you will not see them ever again. I get it.

We were there last year and enjoyed seeing the unusual landscape. We only got to spend a couple hours there but I wished we could have camped overnight. The campground looked very inviting. I loved the different parts of Idaho that I saw. Great video.

I am not a real outgoing person myself, but I think it makes a difference when you are with people other than family members. For me I go to work outside of the home so I have to engage with people on a daily basis more. For you, your work is more at home so you don't "have" to engage with others. If that makes sense? With your traveling and camping/hiking, it is probably easier for you to engage since the others around you have the same interests/hobby. My husband and I have a couple sets of friends that we hang out with often and I still don't always feel like I completely fit in because I am more introverted, but that is ok. I don't have an issue being a homebody and keeping to myself. Less drama that way. LOL You will find someone or maybe a group that like to camp and hike like you and then maybe you do something together every now and then. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Have a wonderful weekend!

This was so interesting. You always find the most fun places, and your videos are so professional. Whenever i see rocks like this i picture a big snake coming out...but that's me and my biggest fear coming out! Lol😂

Campers are different. Everyone is outside and doing things. It’s a lot easier to be sociable. At least that is what I find. And it’s like people. If we are fishing at a state park, there are others who are enjoying the same thing. Or if we are hiking, same. People walk and they stop to visit as we do. It’s a big friendly community even if you never see the people again.
