Crate digging for unusual vinyl records in SEOUL - South Korea - [Dongmyo Flea Market]
Sooo I'm in Seoul. My first order of business was to find some cool vintage records to take back to Scotland and sample. I headed to Dongmyo Flea Market and dug through the various LP shops to see what treasures I could find...

I post all of the music I make, including WAV stems; sample packs; Dirtywave M8 song bundles; collections of video textures; early access to videos; and a whole pile of other stuff on Patreon. I know I know, I hate doing this as well, but if you like what I do and want to get more of it, while also helping me offset some of my ludicrous gear purchases, this is the best place to do it:

If you just want individual sample packs or downloads of video footage to use in your own projects, get them on Gumroad here: gumroad.com/allmyfriends
If you're in the market for new gear, my favourite place to find new and interesting synthesizers and other electronic music gear is Signal Sounds. They are based in Glasgow, but ship all over the place and often have stuff nobody else does. Find them at www.signalsounds.com/

Nice digging in Seoul.
Naturally one would select an album based on the haircuts on the sleeve. I can’t wait to hear what audio treasures you find within!
Can’t wait for the follow up to hear them, that Snow White one 😂 it’s going to be so shockingly bad it will be great, happy diggin
This was a surprisingly cool detour from the usual studio-videos! Excited to see what all these sound like!
Nice! Laserdisc! I just picked up a cherry laserdisc player. Seems alot of them are in rough shape, so finding a working one might cost ya. Buuuuuut, now ya got a LD, ya need a LD player! Great score! Cheers!
Really enjoyed this one, cheers.
Crate digging in Seoul! Man, that's awesome :) Hope you're having a wonderful time, take care and keep the vlogs coming <3
LOVED this, so interesting!
I've haven't trusted myself buying albums on the strength of the artwork since the traumatic experience of 11-year-old me picking up Manowar's "The Triumph of Steel".
You could also scan some of the album 'art' and run it through your video gear...
Dude! That was awesome and suuuuuper entertaining!👏
Also the photo of the gal with the massive teased mullet will haunt my dreams, so thanks for that
Looks like a great trip. Have a good trip back. I got a new synthesizer, should be here this Tuesday.
You got a Sachiko Nishida record! You got good taste!
Sorry, had to delete and my correction TO ME it looks like a laser disc, I had a top loader back in the day that playrd t video disc's like that. Had to flip them manually to play the other side. Video tape was cheaper and the laser disc never caught on until the DVD came out.
just got done watching someone pour pve glue on the record surface, leave to dry, peel off, its meant to be bloody amazing at getting the smeg out of the grooves... dont blame me if it all goes wrong
as a Korean ,some of the korean albums I recognize them. Male duo called Sunflower were very popular in 80s. kind of fork ballad pop songs korean Simon and Garfunkel like.
I also got on the wrong bus in Glasgow once and ended up somewhere like this. Have fun, I did.
Nice job 🙏🙏. Safe trip home.
Such a crazy fun watch man, a true adventure! So many funny parts in this too, from the album covers to the guy chasing you down the street and the guy asking you to come back after eating lunch! 🤣 I am amazed by the sight of some of those shops and a bit surprised you didn't pick up any of those cameras lol ... but if the price on the vinyls were any indication, that's probably why! haha So cool you are able to make the best of the trip, cannot wait to hear you sampling those records you picked up!! 🤘🐀
