Such an awesome project! I'm thinking of flipping the crates so the openings are upwards, putting the board on them with hinges and it's a coffee table with storage!!! Or even attaching like a back to it for the kids to sit on to watch t.v.! Maybe a couple cute pillows on it

Before we went out yesterday I just saw the beginning of your video so when I got to Micheal's I snatched up 2 crates and my hubby asked me what I was going to build? I said, "A bench that Bethany did a DIY on", so now that I have watched the whole video I'm ready to get started . But I'll be needing to get the top board and the wood glue. And I love that u said.... at the store take the crates....put em down..take a seat...see what happens .....at the beginning...cute... i am sure the stores will luv ya for that one... j/k Oh...by the way..I am a an american dollar store craftaholic...but im in Mexico and no dollar stores..no ikea..no michaels..no joannes... so i am really enjoying the how to dupes .. i have a completely unfitted (no kitchen cabinets.. no closets.. etc...) apartment to decorate on way less than a shoestring... Tried putting it by my dresser but now I can’t get my clothes I’m thinking in putting my clothes out at night so I won’t have to struggle and I wouldn’t really have to get a lot o clothes out for school since I wear a uniform

Joann Jones Hi Joann! I do the most when I film the intro shots. 😣 My room doesn't have white carpeting. It's actually woodem floors. I get terrible natural light in thers too. The only place in my house that gets good not shaded natural light is my bathroom. So most of the time what you guys are seeing is white throws I put on the ground and thrn me just arranging things around in this corner in my bathroom lol. 😁 Natural light is the best light for filming!

@bargainbethany this was a great simple idea, I've been looking for a bench for my entryway, I have Multiple sclerosis & it's hard to put shoes/boots on so really wanted a bench saw your video & got my crates at home depot in natural, bought the board in natural for the top, used extra tiles from my kitchen floor to put on the bottom inside for shoes I truly love it, you are soo creative, love all your videos, have reproduced many for my home & Gazebo (made your sea inspired tables) keep up the great work ❤❤❤❤
