Plus dealing with the MFing left laners. In Mass, they call the right lane the through lane because that's the lane you go THROUGH to get on and off the boulevard.

Wow, snaking through two lane areas and a tight delivery location. Gotta love how the Pros get the job done.

Sad he didn't scope out google maps cause he cuddah spit to Koehler's from the 93/95 interchange and saved a lot a headaches !

I was born in Brockton Ma. i recognized the sign on route 24 for brockton and stoughton (pronounced stoweton). spent 25 years driving all over NE on many crappy back roads for my job. rush hour jammed every day. have not been back since 2000. live near lake tahoe,ca now. deep snow

I had a book i wrote every direction for every place i delivered and many a times i had other drivers and dispatch ask for my directions when they had another truck going into that place. Many directions for places in new york city!! merry christmas steve!!

A easy trick to pulling nails put the 2x4 flat next to the nail then as you pull it put the top of hammer on 2x4 as you pull. Gives you leverage

You have a lot of action today on the Massachusetts highways and roads. Truck driver trying to squeeze in like that.. no one heard of space before merging.. I guess not. Be safe out on the road.. so many crazy people when driving near congested near cities and towns.

Nice to see that you were driving in an area I know well as I have ridden on most of the roads that you were driving on starting on Rt 24. I have even been through Woburn Center more than once in an 18 wheeler on the way to a public warehouse in Woburn where my driver would load the 45' trailer with dry foods to take back to a large grocery warehouse west of Boston. Not sure who gave you the directions to get to your drop off but if you had turned left on Salem St. from Main St. just before you got to Woburn Square, you were only a mile on Salem St to turn left onto Wildwood Ave and your destination. But your drive did show you a lot of Woburn and show all of your viewers just how good a driver you are to get your rig through narrow streets and sharp turns. As I am sure you have found out a long time ago, a lot of New England roads were never meant to have big rigs on them, plus all the low bridges. I look forward to see more of your travels.

I wouldn't mind driving anything in Mass except a Semi its not too bad out of the Metro Boston area but once your in that mess oh lordy. Did a mass casualty event training exercise there a few years back and one scenario was an explosion on the MBTA tunnels between MIT and Harvard and the downtown train interchange where four branches intersect, green red orange and blue. Even though most of the training was at night it was hell getting the various apparatus and equipment in place especially in Cambridge. Talk about a city with some tight corners and streets geesh that place sucked big time.

back in 2009 and 2010 i delivered to rent a center stores throughout new england 1 pick 20 drops all tailgated on the st.. most store are in conjested areas...

I used to hate going into places like that. Back when I did it no GPS no iPhones just the Rand McNally and directions from the shipper receiver or off the CB and at times that was v just a poop show. Ya Orwell was worth his weight in gold on that delivery. Nice to be the big rigger out on the boulevard but not so much delivering to hell holes like that. But then not everyone has a 20 acre yard to turn around in. I want to personally that you for bringing us all the videos you have . To you and your family have a Merry and a safe Christmas. about the broken hammer. I always preferred a crow bar to pull nails out of the floor. with a dry van shippers were all the time nailing blocks down when we hauled industrial components. we also hauled big stock rolls of paper from down south/ paper plants. at 10 thousand pounds apiece we could only haul four in the trailer so they would chalk them in place.

Love the sound effects Steve and it warmed my heart seeing you taking a week and helping Tim and his family. Btw those signs mean no box trucks, right? It doesn’t say no skateboards or tankers lol. When you get a nail like the one that broke your hammer handle hook the nail and rock back and forth side ways and use the hammer head to wedge it out.

Hey man just came across your video. I’m from exactly the area you were driving, knew every street and it was weird seeing it haha. I will say if you stayed on the highway you would have run into Rt 93 and that would have taken you right to Montvale Ave then a straight shot to the delivery. That would’ve avoided all the side streets but great job dealing with our little ass streets. Edit: at the end where you left if you took a left and another left drove to the light and another left it would bring you right to the highway you were on before you got off going there.

I traveled the mass Pike from Connecticut ( my home state)for over two decades going in and out of Boston and it's suburbs and nevered understood why Massachusetts never tried to widen that highway to 4 lanes being as a busy thruway that it is..🤔

Maybe check into signal booster options for your hot internet/hotspot.

If you buy a replacement hammer, get a framing hammer. It’s slightly heavy and a much bigger claw.
