As a kid I played an unreal amount of CTR with my sister on ps2. Miss those times. Things were much simpler

you have to learn to power slide in every corner mixed with jumps

That's what it's like playing racing games hate it when your losing and loving it when you're winning 😂

"not sure when I have to power slide" you always power slide, always, everywhere. That's the secret.

Tips for people out there: the drift button acts as a jump and you can use ramps and little bumps to get a free boost. ALSO, collect the wumpa fruit. You’ll see the game feel a little easier through that.

Trev you can use the power ups backwards, you can hold down on the d pad and toss the middle to the ppl behind you, and there are shortcuts on almost every map!

I think this is a fun game. Its seems just as fun as Mario Cart so it will be a great series. Keep up the great work on your vids Trev!

I completely agree the powerslides are hard to control. I just got the game and it's definitely different from the original

Use your power ups like the 3x missles right off if 2 people ahead of you!! I was yelling the whole time! That way each "?" Box gives you another power up

The game ai needs to be fixed. After you stop or shoot a character. They recover way too quickly. The part at pirates cove when you shot the racer with three rockets and still beat you. 🤷‍♂️

M mile, yeah from the older game I don’t remember the recovery so quick from AI. I see a lot of “get good.. crash is hard” comments, from those pointing these flaws out- but there are some valid aspects that I see that need to be fixed. Beat the original game fairly easy. Looking forward to this one.

Actually, there was something he could have done. If he hit the second boost pad, he may have just clutched it. Also, a tip from me as a CNK player, I respect the fact that he went out of his way to find tips. But for powersliding, he needs to do it almost all of the time, not just on corners. There is even a tip that says this at the start.

If you're not going to drift boost, you're going to get murdered by the AI en masse. Twas the case with the original, and it hasn't changed. Chain drift boosting around the track is difficult, but so satisfying when you get it right.
