I think the iron checkpoint crate is the best character beenox has made. The animations are so fluid and vibrant. It has so much personality and character not to mention his victory animations. Just perfection!

I've only just noticed this, but the baby characters actually have a baby booster seat if the kart's seating position is too high for them to see over. That's some cute attention to detail

True. This is true dedication and followup on a game. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe could have had something like that. New cups, characters, vehicle parts, events... They didn't. And the Crate as a character is like... N64/PS1 kind of wacky unlockable. You cannot understand how much nostalgia I had just from adding this box as a character. Games that let you play as a cow, invisible character, big head... this is that.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has a small pass just cause of how different the stats can be for each character and kart combination whereas Crash Team Racing has always had like 4 or 5 separate classes of stats that don't get effected by what kart is being used meaning its a lot easier just to put characters in. Still the main problem I have with Nintendo is them using so many skins as separate characters instead of putting in new characters that haven't appeared in a Mario kart game yet like Monty Mole, or blooper or Professor E. Gadd for example. The worst offender of this is Mario kart Tour. There's a huge roster of Mario characters in the Mario franchise universe and yet all we've gotten was the Mario kart 8 roster, with a few veterans that didn't appear in Mario kart 8 (diddy Kong, birdo, paratroopa etc), TONS of skins advertised like their new characters, and over the months what newcomers do we get. Pauline and Hammer Bro.

Justice Alistair Probably the crate. With the baby with a mustache you can say it got lucky. With a crate, you can’t defend yourself. You lost to an fucking box. It’s like rocky winning the snail race.

Anyway, have you ever played Genshin impact? There are a lot of fun characters and there are more bosses than you think, my favorite is one from The abyss, You can choose from the Female MC or the male MC P.S! The male MC is canon in the anime but not the game, weird right? Edit: the first ever 5 star i got in the game was Mona, turns out she can help my other characters critical dmg! Second edit: i main Bennett and razor, good luck wishing for Shenhe, Xaio, Gaynu, and Zhongli!!! :)
