This game is amazing, I remember that in those days I would have always liked to see an animated series since the characters and the settings had a lot of potential.

Fake Crash must've trolled alot of people that were thinking N. Oxide was an unlockable character.

N. Oxide Should’ve been officially unlockable from the start. But it all came down to technical limitations. But the idea was briefly considered.

Why ?

I wished all the characters raced together in arcade mode so Pura wouldn't be absent if you choose an unlockable character.

In the OG CTR on PS1, Oxide Stats are same as Crash or Cortex. 3/3/3 Intermediate class. You can tell by the engine sounds.

mientras estás derrapando, cuando sale humo negro, presionas el botón de salto que no estés ocupando en el derrape (L1 o R1). Si presionas triángulo durante el juego, en vez del mapa aparece un velocímetro y una barra que se llena mientras derrapas. Mientras más cerca del momento en que se llena activas el impulso, más potente será. Por cada derrapada te puedes impulsar hasta 3 veces.

@@TormentDiamond An unlockable track in the game. Collect all 5 gems and a portal will open up in Gem Stone Valley that leads to the tracks relic race. Beat it, and you unlock the track in Arcade Mode.

You'll be needing a cheat device. Usually it's either an Action Replay or a Gameshark code. I will warn you, Nitros Oxide is only playable in SOME levels, not all of them. If you don't want to go through the trouble of getting a cheat device, just buy Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled instead.
