Thanks Rob I took advantage of this discount checking out a Ford Focus ST I’m buying, it gave me a print out of 20 pages with lots of info even down to the comprehensive massive list of the spec of the car! Only thing I didn’t see however was a list of previous owners unless I missed within all the other blurb, anyway thanks mate 👍🏻

Crikey that’s been hit hard. Testament to the design though and the video shows that the crumple zones did their job. All the bits designed to bend and break have worked and the occupants got out safely. Looking forward to seeing this put back together in a proper repair particularly the parts round the turret. No wood screws round here!

Normally, (if a car has more than a small dent repaired) I'd NEVER buy a car that was accidented for obvious reasons, and the grey Fiesta is perfect example of why I don't. Knowing that you and Chris repaired it, however, I wouldn't give it a seond though. The trick is knowing who fixed the car and how. I would buy that car (knowing Chris did the work) anytime because he fixes cars to exact manufacturer specs so it'll be safe and done properly.

However it will be good for him to see it being brought back to A1 condition, which I know it will be, may be you guys should consider giving him first refusal when complete, just an idea, not really my place to say, apologies. From a SRUK it’s brilliant, the content this is going to create will be excellent, I’m really looking forward to seeing and understanding how it will be repaired. I did appreciate the live camera rather than time laps, thanks for that Chris. Keep up the good work guys. Thank you!

Having worked on those engines before and knowing the cost of the timing tools and labour to change just that front cover and that fact its a floating crank pulley that requires 700nm tightening torque, I'd suggest a good second hand engine and save yourself the time and effort. The tools themselves are £££s and are a must, even before you factor in the cost of the cover and the timing belt which you'd change whilst you're in there because they're so problematic

I think what the young lad needs is a guarantor to bid for him hopefully, he is watching the whole process unfold & may learn from this learning curve. 😁😄👌👍

The value in doing similar cars is the parts bounty you get from project to project :), nice work Rob. Also very handy you have a jig expert in Chris.

I looked back on a two year old vid before I subscribed and guys you are so much better than then. You have learned a lot about keeping it concise and interesting. Hope you don't take offence but if I had logged on 2 and a bit years ago I would never have subscribed. Love it now.
