I'm probably just going to redo it on another method. I know on GameCube this issue doesn't exist.

Did you check in the system tab? Sometimes it's just some graphics/filters/particles that messes it all up, I think you're running it in Hardware mode, but if you put it in Software it might be ok (I encountered kind of the same problem on PCSX2 for the levels in the dark)

Its hilarious actually how both YOU and Wumpa Lewis struggle with the point of vision in your respective different timelines of Crash 4. While you have this "X-ray" segment being invisible to you, Wumpa Lewis is struggling with seeing crates and ENTIRE LEVELS in "Its About Time" N.Verted Levels. Aku bless him. He did the stream just now and poor soul is already raging his heart out slightly.

I have trouble seeing the creates in N verted mode as well. Especially on the rail sections. I have to go close to my TV.

! crates count as boxes in this game

Theres a chance its an issue with the rom youre using? Maybe try using a different rom

naa it's actually been confirmed by a friend now as a bug using his own set-up. But he gave me a good idea as it's only on this level. I'll finish the rest of the game on the xbox version, but then switch to the gamecube version for the plat relic on just level 15. This also saves me redoing all levels again. cause of being able to input a cheat that will give me access to all levels.
