Props on having 34 lives to lose. I lost so many on the earlier levels. I thought I was done with this level type after completing the road to nowhere level. However the rope walking trick doesn't work on this level. I hate how easy EternityGaming makes this look.

Two nights of sheer HELL to get through this goddamn level! Whoever designed this game was a grade A sadist.

I just beat the road to nowhere today. After 2 days of being stuck. Make it to this one... good lord... WHY!! Honestly, I think as a child. I couldn't get past one of the levels, and stopped playing. But I played the hell out of warped

For people having a hard time getting on top of the ropes. Stand right behind the post the ropes are tied to. Then jump on the post. Make sure you're on top of the post, then just walk forward. You'll fall right on top of the ropes and can beat the level that way.

To all the people that said jumping on the ropes is way easier, thank you! It was still a bit challenging but by far easier than jumping on the damn turtles!

This is by far the most frustrating level in the game. And I've played Stormy Ascent, by the way. It's such a ridiculous level design. But what's far worse than completing the level is getting the relic. Never have I died so many times trying to collect a relic. I'm not so good with using the ropes, but I eventually was able to use them to at least avoid the dumb turtles. Overall, worst Crash level I ever played.

I got the relic without even using the ropes, and only 3 seconds to spare. Believe me, it was absolute hell

Mental breakdowns are mostly caused by this stage. Don't drink and drive.

Imagine being told... get all the fruit without falling to get a special gem 😭

I don’t know who you are, but I have mad respect for you for finishing this level and bonus with so much grace. I’m impressed!

For those struggling with the turtle jumps. I figured out if you just hold the jump button down right before you land on the turtle, you’ll do the big jump. This way you dont have to time the jump. Just hold the jump button down from right before bouncing on t mhe turtle, till you land again. Just beat this level after hours of running it and that’s how I did it

I've got to admit, the Wumpa Islands need to invest a whole bunch more on infrastructure for their jungle canyon rope bridges. If they have copious amounts of gems just lying around and the technology to create floating CCTV cameras I'm sure they can create two flyover bridges that are not infested with hogs and tortoises.

Haha. I used the ropes. Then harvested 99 lives. Then proceeded the hard way. Got it with about 17 lives left.

I discovered that u can just jump ontop of the ropes on the side, and tightrope walk through big chunks of the level. Still hard, but much easier than doing it the normal way lol

William my friend beat this level and he was able to do the ropes EASY. He didn’t fall trying to get onto the ropes even once. He even got onto them once by turtle bouncing

After weeks and weekends of torture on the n sane trilogy here's some good tips. The easiest method would be to use the ropes the whole way through after getting the secret boxes first in the beginning. Use the ropes on the right side as I find that easier for the physics of the game. Once on the rope make sure crash's feet are fully balanced before going or you will fall. What I mean by balanced is try to have the rope centered while he is standing before going or you will fall. When you finally reach and beat the bonus round I died a couple of times after trying to reach the end but on my last life and finally making it I noticed you get the gem anyway as a heads up.

Guys, if you’re struggling on this level, try this tip. When you enter the level go ahead and break the 4 boxes ithat are on the behinde bridge part and then just try to jump on the right side of roap of the bridge. If you try to go ond the left side, it won’t be as stable as the other one. You’ll save a lot of time by using this tip ;). Hope it helps!❤

I came here because I just rage quitted this level lmao I thought road of nowhere was hard but this... the bosses in the games are easy as fuck but the levels are complete hell... I suck at platformers honestly ToT but by looking the comments I'm glad i'm not alone suffering...XD

i’m appearing on some of the crash bandicoot levels on youtube on the ones i hate just to see if anybody experiences the same and this level with ‘Road to Nowhere’ and ‘Native Fortess’ are absolutely horrible: Native Fortess took me 1 hour 30 mins Road to Nowhere - 1 hour 40 mins The High Road - 3 hours

I just beat this level. To all the people that cheated you owe it to yourself to beat this level without cheating. You’re not doing yourself any favors by cheating. The next level is actually more difficult.

I just beat this level. To all the people that cheated you owe it to yourself to beat this level without cheating. You’re not doing yourself any favors by cheating. The next level is actually more difficult.

This level sucks balls, but I've found a quick and easy way to farm lives. You can farm up to 99 so you don't have to worry about game overs. You simply have to start this level, collect all the lives at the very beginning (including the ones behind the start), then quit and go back to the overworld. You will see that the lives don't get removed from your inventory. After that, reload your autosave. When you do, you will keep the lives you just picked up! You can do this as long as you want or until you have 99 lives

Darth Mosnar that's what I did except I used the Lost City. There are 3 bonus lives at the beginning and then you just have to spin flying bats to get wompa fruit. Takes about 45 seconds to get 100 fruit. Keep doing this over and over. Lol.

I hear this is like the hardest level in the game but surprisingly I didn’t have that much trouble with it.... my first time every playing through it I finished it kinda quickly and got Perfect status in the end... personally I found the level right after this (the slippery climb or whatever) to be much more infuriating

When i played Crash 1 on ps4, i had 73 lives. When i beaten it, i had 5.

I think it's better to use the d-pad because I have had times where I use the analog stick and accidentally jump sideways and die

I have been searching for the proper way to describe High Road and it has taken every inch of my brainpower to properly articulate my hatred for this stage and after trying for so long to complete it I think I finally have the perfect way to describe High Road. (inhale) F*** THIS LEVEL!!!!

I thought it was hard at first but it turns out not that bad. Just be sure to time the jump button good when you hit the turtle and you should be all fine. Check points are surprisingly generous.

Never in a game has a shadow been so crucial...

Don't use the rope-walking trick. You are going to fall more times than you are going to die if you do it the right way. It is best to try to move forward and master the turtles and the wooden boards. I used that advice and passed it on to me

10 lives lost in literally 2 minutes. I’d heard about this level. What the fucks the point!? Crazy thing... this was actually meant to be a game for CHILDREN... but this level can actually make grown men cry!

You can also walk on the ropes past the parts with no wood :)

Just remember, in the original you had to break every box in this level **without dying** in order to get the clear gem

Here in 2021 playing on ps5 bcuz its free rn. Wow. Cant get past road to nowhere so i did the unspeakable and watched future levels spoiling the game and lemme tell you.. im so glad i did. I cant imagine getting through a level like road to nowhere just to play levels like this. Jesus. Done with crash idc im not about to spend another 2 hours trying to pass ONE level. Doom eternal isnt even this hard on nightmare! Onto ratchet n clank👍🏽

This is absolutely one of the most frustrating levels I've ever encountered for a crash bandicoot game.

When I beat this level, I'll already be at my funeral.

I walk the ropes. The bonus was definitely easier that Heavy Machinery(😞 still haven't beaten it).

Even with the ropes, this level is so difficult, I’m currently stuck, but I’m going to track a break and come back in a few hours.

Tip for this. Go into the lost city. And grab the first like 4 lives. Leave the level Load the save from auto save that was just made Go back unto lost city Grab the lives again Using this makes this level a lot easier
