This boss should've had phases for each character like Evil Twins. It's a big wasted potential

I thought that's exactly what this boss was gonna be when they said "Let's see what you mongrels can go as a pack." I guess they were afraid players who didn't do the optional levels would get stuck because they didn't know how to control the other characters.

Even Final Fantasy 7 Remake's Sephiroth boss fight did something similar. The first phase is just Cloud and Sephiroth, but in the next phases Tifa, Aerith, and Barret help out. Samething should of been done here

@@CallMeBeggar I know. They say “as a pack” which implies that every character would have a part in the fight. But it ends up just being crash. Even if they were just small sections dingodile, tawna, and cortex should have had parts of it where you play as them.

So much potential in the fight, Tawna could pull platforms from rocks where Cortex could set off a launcher that shoots Dingodile where he destroys a meteor that creates the platforms for the boss fight. The N. Tropys' electric bolts could be replaced with clocks and the big laser could be replaced with a time orb that sucks Crash into the time prison.

That's what this whole game is honestly, this game caters to those players that complained about many playstyles and low difficulty in Crash, so they made other character very optional and stages very hard to complete. This game hurts me so much because the foundation is freaking awesome but the completion criteria as well as hidden crates and cheap hazards ruined it for me.

lol way to miss obvious queer coding. Tawna is very clearly a lesbian and was flirting with Coco. Tawna and Crash dated, making them similar in age, and Coco isn't much younger than Crash. Coco isn't a child hahaha

If it was like in Warped where they start panicking and throwing a tantrum the closer you got because they hadn't planned that far, it would make some sense, Tropy was always a blusterous villain, but Crash 4 spends the whole game treating them as COMPETENT to the point female Tropy WON in her universe, so it's just unironically "Ehhh, that's it?" when you win. Apparently they were gonna do more gags to fake out the player originally, like a fake credits sequence like in Donkey Kong Country. I feel just playing out the irony for all its worth would have worked better.

I woke up today with no memory of beating this boss. I cannot believe I beat this while black-out drunk last night.

Aside from the gigantic MEME, this is quite an underwhelming final boss fight.. Cortex's was better. I'm actually a little disappointed this is the best they came up with.

Gameplay wise it is an underwhelming boss but thematically it is fitting, Cortex drives the story significantly more than N.Tropy does so Cortex's boss fight is much more imposing than N. Tropy's.

@@elin111 I kinda like that really. It's sorta vindication for Cortex being the comical so-called 'inferior' villain to N Tropy the whole story. The Tropies could put up a grandoise act but went out quickly when things stopped going their way, while Cortex manipulated the fact everyone thinks he's just a jaded goof. A nice change from the usual formula with comical main villains Eggman, Bowser, etc who keep getting thrown off final boss by a more menacing and 'scawy' bad guy. I love when a total clown takes everyone by surprise.

I thought it was interesting how they added voice clips from earlier in the game during the rail grind section of the level.

after struggling a lot in crash landed to get perfect relic, I was kinda hyped with this boss fight, sadly it was not a big deal

I've only watched a few of your crash series, but I definitely have a better appreciation for this game now. Spyro and Ratchet & Clank were my defining first games, so I'm glad to see your favorite game make a great return too. Spyro remains quite easy, but I was surprised at some of Ratchet & Clank's bosses difficulty.

This plan of theirs makes me think they took a sip of some datura tea because that is the only way any of their plan would work in their heads. Like wtf did they do to Tropy? I thought he was supposed to be the smartest member of the N. Sane villain team. Like it was the whole reason Uka-Uka summoned him. He was damn COMPETENT. They completely Rick Sanchez'd him here except with Rick's stupidity his excuse is that he's drunk like 95% of the time. Also the whole thing between him and the female version of him is a huge wtf. Like you're not Rick and Morty. No one wants a weird selfcest thing in their game. Focus on gameplay(cause there were glitches that made collecting things and enjoying the game hell on earth) and not on being EDGY. Sonic tried to be EDGY and look what that lead to(Forces ... it's Forces).

Really Tropy was always hit and miss. In Warped and N Tranced his plans also failed prematurely because he was so arrogant and hot headed. I feel like the deal with him is that he's a more grandoise and cunning villain than Cortex on surface level but that all goes to pot the moment he's NOT in control anymore. IAT does a similar thing, just not in as practical a way that still made for a good fight like the previous two. I agree however I'm just not big on the 'edgier' plotline they were going for with IAT. Some previous Crash games had adult gags sure, but they didn't feel so in-your-face and the characters were still likeable (Nina had an abortion gag in Titans which was.....questionable, but they didn't hinge her character on it). I miss snooty time-punned obsessed Tropy over one-note sleazy creepy Tropy. Not big on 'dark and tragic action girl' Tawna either. Came off kinda pretentious in a Crash game.

The entire point of Crash Bandicoot as a franchise when it comes to comedy is that the villains don't understand the genre they're a part of. They don't know it's comedy and are thus introduced as straight-faced as possible. This makes it so it's even funnier when this dumbass marsupial in jorts walks up and just breaks all their shit and knocks them down a peg. Crash is only edgy because it's funnier to watch the edgelords fall flat.

In my opinion the fight against the two n.tropys is horrible because they only have two lives and the fight is very easy it would be cool if only the original n.tropy was the final boss he would have a longer battle with 9 lives and his power would be elevated instead of the female n.tropy the ally of the original n.tropy would be the n.tranced that would be interesting because we would discover how the original n.tropy met him and also the fifth dimension the universe where the n.tranced lives but this is just my opinion

Probably the most disapointing part of the game.

Wait WAIT hold the fuck up. Someone who's played this tell me if the oneyplays/ng crash woahs with those crash woah faces are really in the game or not?? Holy shit. I need answers
