After 30 years as a crane operator. Keep signal simple where bright colored glove for us to see signal. If in doubt just tell operator what you want to do. Also avoid telescope under load. Use boom and hold load Remember when crane picks up load boom will sink down causing load to swing out away from crane. Most good operator s will boom up a little while picking. Telescope type hydro deflect more than lattice boom. Watch your head!

The extend boom and retract boom just to clarify extend boom is thumb up and against chest and retract boom in thumb down against chest ? Thanks for making this film -im planning a career change to "banksman first then tower crane operator from retail and sales jobs. Would you have any advice ?

Work for people who value safety. The current crane certification and new regulations in the U.S. are much Betty than were, but you still need to responsible for safety related to anything you do with a crane. It’s a never ending learning process.

У меня узбеки стропальщики команды подают, что сами не понимают, что показавают. Я смотрю по обстановке и ситуации, интуитивно догадываюсь что необходимо сделать - вира, майна или поворот...
