I'm a black women and when I heard this song, I feel in love. Because one day when all believers in Christ get to heaven, on the Lord's day we will all worship God together. Just like there is a day set aside for him, there will be a day like that in heaven. Don't get me wrong, everyday will be a glorious day, but he wants us to enjoy each other as well. There will be a time for worship and the a time for family and friends. Can't wait until that day, when we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing it will be.

Craig Morgan is a badass.. From what I understand, he spent 10 years in the Army, doing time with the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions. Then, in 2011, he saved two children from a burning house, then helped with fighting the blaze. If all of this is true, then ya, he isn't your average country artist, that's for sure lol. I have a ton of respect for this guy..

This song always takes me back to my childhood 😭

With this song and his song "Almost Home", Mr. Morgan single handedly personified and defined what real music is. The kind that physically grabs your heart, twists it, and wrenches out every good memory as well as every regret.

I used to think about Sunday as the end of a weekend and a day to be bummed about the week starting. Now it’s just getting filled with the word of God and makes me look at it as a new beginning to be a better man than I was last week.

Athiest and I love this song and songs like "If Heaven Wasn't so Far Away" and "When I get Where I'm goin", we can't just not give something a chance bc yeah a couple things in the lyrics we don't believe in, but we actually know what they are about it is not religion but family and joy and hope and loving the small things in life.

When my Mom died, I took a bit of time to reflect on her life and loosing her after a long bout of dementia. How I all of a sudden had a lot of time on my hands with little to no purpose. This song really grounded me in a time of personal rebuilding after a heavy loss. This song centers you on simplicity and what's important. I can confirm she has helped me more on the other side than she could on this side of the vale.

There need to be more people that believe the words of this song. I've been a Christian since I was 8 years old and I'm not going 2 stop now or ever. Jesus Christ has brought me through so much.
