This TTV6 sounds awesome! A lot better than I expected. I've been waiting for this video since RD announced RBHRT was going to make a sound clip of the TTV6. Can you please make a longer version? I don't want it to stop!

👏🏻to Triple 8, that engine doesn't sound too bad. Not as good as a V8 mind but in a different league to the awful noise coming out the back of Formula 1 cars! Would love to see a more powerful version of this engine in the back of Danny Ricc's Red Bull🙏🏻

There will still be V8s in the sport. The rule change just allows more engine configurations.

my VF SV6 twin turbo sounds good and throaty, but also ricer. it does have a fairly audible internal vented wastegate. It is a stock LFX V6, and does 451rwhp.

The V6 Twin Turbo engine has been shelved.

Nothing can beat the glorious V8 Sound from the Australian Series, but the V6 Sounds actually good. Better than the V6 from the F1. But the V6 Sound could be better, but let's see what the Teams will do in the next Years.

I can't hear any turbo whistle, blow off valves, flutter, nothing, someones tried really hard to make this sound closer to a v8!! And they did a good job. While the old pushrod crew might like it, i want it to sound turbo, more vacumn cleaners please!!!!!!

Doubt you could make a turbo fizz drown out the gearbox whine (from inside anyway). Maybe you can hear it from the outside.

it's like every v6 turbo sounds better than the ones in F1 ^^ (this car, the Ford GTE ...)

This sounds good because it is a 60 degree vee angle for even firing of the cylinders every 120 degree of crankshaft rotation. Being twin turbo also preserves the classic 6 cylinder sound as the headers would be a tuned 3 into 1 design before the turbo on each bank. In F1 they have a 90 degree Vee which means they run an uneven firing order, with all of the header pipes merging into one turbo (this is due to the regulations). If F1 engines were twin turbo and 60 degree V6, they would sound so much better!

From what I read on the 888 website this mite be the only way lowndes gets to drive the v6 because only whincup and SVG will be getting one for the 2018 season and he will have to stick with his v8
