Such a great sneak peak into Craig Davids private life! Such a talented gentleman he seems and ferne was VERY lucky to get close n personal to such an amazing gorgeous talented young man!

he deserved all this..great musician!!!!!!

For what it's worth, Craig went up miles in my estimation when he appeared on Bo Selecta. Takes a lot of dignity to embrace having the piss taken out of you. Good bloke.

He is really a RnB legend!!!!

Continued: When he mentions Bo' Selecta, I think that was more of a personal thing for Craig and his Manager if anything because I've seen the videos on KZread and didn't see anything in them that would make me say "Craig is a joke" Craig will always be the man, he's humble, appreciative, overall makes "timeless music", he is the package and today's music ( here in the states) is such half ass garbage that is carnival ready music. He's on a different level...

It seems like they were jealous , or didn't like the fact that he was a huge star from England that was Black, so they create this character to make fun of him,..call the brother gay and stupid shit !!! Eventually he had to move to America to escape the haters in his own country ....(did he come to the right place to escape haters) ?

I followed him since 2000' England has a habit of jealousy' He was nominated for a brit award and never received one. He was not appreciated for his contribution to music period!

+sixpac20032010 The humilliation of the tv industry had nothing to do with that. It could very well have been just racism. There was no humour in that, kind of like racist jokes. That's how this kind of industry behaves and unlike you have considerable power or do what Murdoch tells you, you get attacked with impunity.

Absolutely true, media were jealous and Francis a hater.

Used to be a huge fan of Craig and just got kind of disappointed cos indeed I bought into the thought that he was getting too "complaisant" like we say in France. I'm so glad to see he turns out to be the great guy I thought he was in the first place and you know what I'm praying his next song will be a hit. Don't know how the industry works but damn he's so talented, there's just no way he cannot make it. Thk you for the "doc" -3 love it.

IKR? Music for a "better word" here to describe it is now some gangsta wannabe talkn over a jumble of sounds in a South London accent! Yea it's real life n it's wot most of the younger generation is into nowadays in 2022 but personally I prefer the soul/funk/RnB/ garage music styles from the 1980s onwards ending in the mid 2000s!

The Vault just played "The Rise and Fall" and it just hit me Craig David's real life has become like that song. It's all about how many women he has, jow much money and material flashy posessions he has.

You are exactly right.that's what messed him up.Slicker Than Average was a good album too,not as good as Born To Do It but good though.but I think what really messed him up was when he started switching up his music especially around his last two albums which were bad in my opinion and didn't sell at all. The record label didn't support it and the albums just weren't good.he needs to get back to the Born To Do It days except with a more mature side.we don't need no more club songs.
