I’ve literally never seen a person so universally respected in the NHL as Berube. When he got fired by the Blues, a star player criticized him in the press - and got booed mercilessly by the fans during their next home game. Literally everyone respects this guy.

Eric Pinto is someone you can’t help but like right away. What a class act. When Craig Berube was winding down his playing career here in Calgary with the Flames he was a mentor to younger players. It was really awesome to see how Craig took over the head coaching job taking the Blues from the league’s worst record to winning their first Stanley Cup. I love seeing good things happen to good people.

The Chief was one of the best enforcers in his day, but he could play the game too. I've met him and he's a great guy.

Chief was a f*#king animal. The only guy who could consistently beat up Marty McSorley, and give Bob Probert hard grief.
