What an amazing story.. "The 2019 Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues"
The forecheck the St. Louis Blues utilized in the playoffs with size, speed and skill was omnipotent.
Man, but this guy STILL looks tough! What a solid, calming, no-nonsense presence he must be in the locker room! He's BEEN there, in the trenches--as opposed to a Hitchcock or a Yeo, who strike me as comparatively soft in spite of their authoritarian approach--and it shows and the team seems to relate to him.
Congratulations to Chief the Blues Team and the City of St. Louis !!!!!
Coach of the year, against all odds. Well-deserved.
As far back as I can remember (late 80’s) till now the blues have been a blue collar, grinding team. He is a perfect fit!
Great Coach! I can see clearly now the rain is gone is gonna be a bright, bright, bright sunny Day...

MARKET STREET CUP YOU DID NOT JYNX THE BLUES!!! WOOOOOOOOOOO
What was the teams greatest strength? I guess each of the players and coaches may have their own answer for that question, but as a fan I would have to say their tenacity. While I may have been cussing them up and down and giving in to the despair that I have come to expect as a longtime Blues fan this team never gave up! When they lost they came back and crushed it in the next game. Momentum was never a factor with these guys. It was one game at a time and push on toward the ultimate goal!
Hell yeah- Let Chief go have a drink already! WOOOoOT! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽☺️💙🎶
Congrats to a tough guy.
As a Flyers fan, I was disappointed when Hextall fired him. Berube is a no nonsense, black and white coach, no grey areas whatsoever. When a player isn't playing well, he's going to say it. Unlike the dope the Flyers replaced him with. Most importantly, first Indigenous coach to win a cup.
Way to go Chief!
Congrats!
This is what a 'players coach' looks like. Now stop calling him interim coach.
Good job Flyers for letting this guy go
Berube always seems to be on an even keel.
Sitting here nervously awaiting the Gatorade shower.
If Craig berube doesn't get the Jack Adams award we know the NHL is rigged you bringing a team from last to champions somebody's paying somebody off

SH: Sorry, but the "Chief" wasn't even nominated, which happens, alas, before the playoffs.

@@redfeydakin69 Really?! If so, glad to hear it--and sure as hell hope he wins it, as no one deserves it more than "Chief."
Wow I remember when the chief was with the flyers in the late 80s . And the coach in the 2000s . And mad the play offs . And then Fired him the next year lol. Way the go flyers .
Takes a player to coach players.

Yes and No. I mean there have been some great couch potato Stanley Cup coaches and some former NHL players that have been great coaches. The GM and owners tend to be unsung heroes in putting all the right pieces together to make it happen.
THE CHIEF BETTER WIN THE JACK ADAMS!
