You are so welcome! It's another great set of sales. I just had to share Suzy. I hope your back feels better soon 🙏♥️🙏. My crafty roomie had sciatica and it was rough on her at crops. That's a 14 -16 hour day of crafting for a long weekend. So I saw how painful it can be. And then there were times when she couldn't move at all. Sending you lots of prayers and hugs.

Have you had any issues with your scout?

Hi Betsy! I hope you had a great 4th of July. No issues. But here's something funny - so I was diecutting pine leaves and I decided to use the shim. Which is a mylar, wafer thin shim in the Universal Plate Sys. It worked on my diecuts as those are intricate. But I forgot to remove the shim and I noticed my top plate started to bend. So I quickly removed the shim and flipped the plate to more cuts. And it flattened out like butter!!! The Scout is mini diecutting machine I have been waiting for... #5 actually. So I have been searching for something like this for years. And if Spellbinders did not send it to me, I would have bought it during the PreSale. And then when Denzil from Spellbinders showed, that the internal gears were steel - I knew she was a true winner! Beautiful, strong, compact, but still wide enough to accommodate many dies. Can you tell I'm in love with my Crafty Assistant 🥰👍

@@ACreativeMuse I hope you are feeling better. I opened my Scout the evening of 07/01 and all was going well and all of a sudden the Scout stopped allowing me to feed the die cut deck to go through. It just catches where the die begins to feed through the rollers and just spins without the plates continuing to feed. I’ve tried repositioning the plates.. I was so excited, but feeling disappointed with it right now. By the way, I am using spellbinder dies and paper.

@@betsyturek4404 now that’s strange. It’s a brand new machine. Contact Spellbinders and explain what’s going on and ask for a replacement. They may want that machine just to see what’s going on. As you know they sent me 2. Both are fine. Did u try placing the die a little lower - not all the way to the top? And u are using Plates A, B & C only??? No additional plates or mats. That’s so strange. I’d contact them tomorrow.
