So adorable! A bird in the cheesebox is worth two in the stash! P.S.----According to Alexander McCall Smith's character Precious Ramotswe in his detective series, we are "traditionally built." I also think "plump" is a nice word & was considered a compliment in Victorian times.

My mother used the bobby pins in our hair on the rollers with the “brush” inside they were black with the brush being white, used bobby pins on the pink plastic rollers; of course the pink sponge rollers every Saturday night to be ready for church Sunday while we watched the Porter Waggoner show (when Dolly Parton was just starting out) she hawked the “Box of Breeze” laundry detergent that depending on what size were cheap bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. We girls had to sleep in those darn rollers. Yes I’m in my 60’s and this memory is from the 1960’s! I have 2 cheese boxes I’ve had for years yes they are very splintered. I need more ideas on how to use them in craft projects. Thanks for the trip down memory lane❕

Brandi, this just perfect! Just as an afterthought, I think it would also have been a lovely center for the wreath underneath of it as well. Now I'm off to find a way to make this without having a cheese box...( I think I may have a small, flat basket hanging around somewhere...!) Thankyou for another wonderful tutorial.

Is that real moss or faux if it’s faux it really looks real! Love the bird nest! I love everything you do but my favorite things you do I’d the nature crafts! They are works of art!
@MakingItMyOwn

It’s faux moss from Temu-I think they called it a moss mat.
Loved your project. Where do you get cheese boxes from? Nancy

Love this Brandy!! So very cute. Where did you get the 'ferny' pieces of greenery you used at the back of the box??🙂😺🐦

Hi! Those were given to me from someone else’s stash declutter.
I never can remember the names but it's in firm family
I could not read the name of your Java paint. I see alot of people using Java color. I normally use Waverly paints. Where is Creola? I am from Wetumpka.
@MakingItMyOwn
Ай бұрын
Hi Shannon. The color of the chalk paint is Java-it’s a very dark brown coffee like color.
You shouldn't have to apologize for calling your bird a chubber....the cry babies can move on..
