If only that plug would come out so easily for the rest of us!

You left me hanging. What did oil look like, how much was removed and replaced and any problems or improvements after install.

The drained oil was very black. Those transmissions are supposed to be non serviceable. I drained and replaced just under 2 qts. No real difference or improvements after install.

I recently changed my Hydro Gear transmission and used 20W 50 transaxle oil. I made video but have not put it out. There was no change to performance.

Is axle removal the only way to change the oil? To bad there's no drain plug on the bottom.

Yes, there is only one plug one top to drain and fill.
