Craftsman LT1000 - Part 6: Cutting Deck Idler Pulleys

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

First grass cut of the season was delayed by an idler pulley bearing failure; so today I'm installing two new idler pulleys on a 42" cutting deck from a 2001 Craftsman LT1000. - Clay.

Shoot a video and upload it to your KZread channel. Maybe it will help someone else. And consider lubricating whatever deck bearings you don't replace. They're "sealed for life", but if you lube them, they will live a lot longer. Check out this video from sixtyfiveford: kzread.info/dash/bejne/a4iM2cirYdzKn7g.html

Thanks! An easy and inexpensive repair (around 40 bucks). The rumble in the deck is gone and it cuts great. - Clay

Sage advice! Pushin' on a ratchet is a bad move ... and I charge $10.00 extra for each skinned knuckle :^) - Clay.
