Craftsman 3100 PSI Pressure Washer-Quick Glance
I purchased a Craftsman 3100 PSI pressure washer to knock out a task. Within a days time the washer hose was out of commission from touching the part of the engine that get really hot. Sure user error most likely contributed to the issue. I replaced the entire washer with this one and wanted to alleviate the hose touching it before ever starting this one. The Water Inlet and outlet were backward based off of the diagram in the manual photo. Here is what I found. I dont like talking alot but I rambled a bit with this discovery.

Idk why you would remo e that housing in the 1st place.... i got one and its built like yours(as all this model is) and it works great. There is supposed to be water there as water passes through that diaphragm.
Is it normal for the air release valve to drop water?

I havent seen that in the case with mine. Just guessing it could be a loose waterhose?
Water is from the manufacture test for sure!
i loaned mine to my neighbor who couldnt get it to run, he filled the soap container with gasoline, is it ruined?

Im no professional, but. I dont think it would be ruined. The soap container should pop on and off with a hose that mixes the soap with the water.

@@IonianSoldier07 its a craf5tsman 950 model the soap container is seperate attached at the bottom
Not sure if you'll be willing to do this, but i've contacted craftsman and they could find it either. Could you scan that owners manual for me and send it to me, would be a great help. mine didnt come wuth one!

I would recommend using the website, www.manualslib.com/ It has thousands of manuals for different things. In the meantime, I will search for the 3100 PSI specifically.

The sprayer works fine. I just have to be extra mindful of the hose.

What kind of gas do you use?

I used unleaded. The manual said to use a specific unleaded fuel, though. Its like i think no greater than 80% ethanol
