The needle needs to be in the highest position for the threader to work. Thanks for the idea!

I heard someone who made a similar embroidery item & she said the sticky stabilizer will wear off with the dog fur, & you can rub off the sticky a little bit with your thumb. It won't bother the pet. Don't worry about trying to get it all off when you first make it. 🐶

I never used mine. just try it without the spool thing.the thread will stay put.
Maybe slow the machine down to stop this
