I'm thrilled you love the method! I still have my birdbath, and I love it. I did it this way because I wanted to have both a beautifully detailed bottom part and the bowl. I’ve never seen anyone do it this way, it’s always upside down over a mound of sand, very interesting. Also, dish gloves are much sturdier and will not tear like the Nitrile gloves do, they are not made for the rough cement application…Looks nice good job!

Hi thank you so much for watching my Channel and welcome to more craftier😊I took quikrete Mason mix from Home Depot, this way, you don’t have to mix anything together. It’s a really fine material 😊i used sand on the bottom of the container to form my leaf 😊 The ratio of Cement and sand would be: 2 part sand and 1 part cement
