When you showed the inkjet page you tea dyed and said you weren’t a fan, I was like, I AM! lol I o this on purpose to pages. I love how the color bleeds through to the other side and the texture it gives the paper. In fact I just used that technique in a journal I made for myself. Even though you do t care for it, I’m glad you showed it so other can see what happens and decide to give it a go or not.

I actually love the page where the colors seeped through on the back of the paper and think if you'd edge it with your Vintage Photo, it'd be perfect, but that's just me, lol 🥴 So far your journal is beautiful 💜💜💜

Interesting video. I do a mixture of grungy and shabby I think. Whatever comes to mind I do. Having said that I am only on my second journal. I tend to dye my paper before I print on it as I also have an inkjet and the colour runs if I wet it. Might give paint and ink a try next time. Thanks for sharing ❤

Oh, have you tried gessoing the inkjet pages first, then tea dying? Maybe it would seal the ink a bit.

Hi , no I haven’t. But I have learnt that if you print on matte inkjet photo paper then you can tear/coffee dye after printing. Brigitta from kleeblatt creations told me and yes it works. 😀💙

the page with the birds where the ink bled through to the other side ..... on the side you are not fond of cover it with a paper you like. Maybe layer some pages from big to smaller. Also for the cover .... just add something "grungy" to the front as an embellishment. something that clips on or pins to it that is a little shabby. :)
