Ok so Gil is not “hard” to make in this game, but I think what people forget to mention is that there is no real “get rich quick” way to make alot of Gil. most people I know who are billionaires in this game acquired their wealth over time and have played consistently throughout each expansion, you just have to follow certain principles. I mean sure you can craft highest ilvl battle gear on patch release and sell each for millions which is really quick money, but the time investment you have to put in before hand is ignored. Like you would need the previous crafter set probably penta melded for you to be able to craft the new stuff on day 1, have to find the locations of the unspoiled nodes and farm them, and also have currency pre capped to buy the tome items...so even though it may appear like quick money there is still a time investment made

You know I've seen a lot of comments in your previous videos talking about the perfect timing your video came out with them doing a thing relevant. I just started crafting today so this is an amazing surprise.

A real easy way to level most crafters is to farm your own mats through gathering jobs. Do what he said about getting basic stuff easy to craft like ingots and cloths and auto synth them. You don't spend anything but crystals if money is your issue it just takes a bit longer farming them yourself.

@@robertbarrows4795 takes too long, i buy the cheap stuff and go get expensive stuff myself, neglect fishing and cooking they are the least useful, the rest are used to make gear, those two crafts are for food buffs they can wait. You can save a lot of cash by making your own HQ gear too instead of buying gear.

Dont forget if speed isn't a concern that the beast quests are great for leveling crafters and it's free. Moogle is for 50-60 and namazu is for 60-70. If you're doing a gatherer then the qitari are great for 70+ as well.

I want to add a comment here for future viewers that it is literally impossible to do Ishgard Restoration Lvl 60 collectible at level 60-70. It will literally always fail no matter what you do. You have to do the levequests at that level range.

I would say the one crafting job that this is trickiest for is Culinarian. It's just so damn hard to find spammable crafts at earlier levels. The market board prices are insane for these mats too because people know that Culinarians are going to buy them out (I'm thinking Noble grapes for level 31-35). Either way, it's always good to be reminded about levequests and Ishgardian Restoration. Great video!

The early fish meal made from table salt and I think carp xp is bad but it makes easy xp. And obviously the fastest way to level up botany is through the foundation and teleport to the firmament there's an npc as you spawn just ahead and on the left he will give you a duty thay you can level from 1 to max level get scrolls from your GC for xp and you can make 1 - 50 in a few hours if you really grind it or take your time I've gone from level 1 to 36 in about 4 hours taking my time doing an hour a day and the xp scales with your lvl giving about 1k a drop minimum for me at the moment. Fishing can be dome there as well but I've only caught stuff with the level 1 lure rhay can be reused a few times.

I have all crafting jobs leveled to 70, but I completely forgot about doing the quests. So now I have to go through all crafting/gathering jobs and do all the questlines....That's going to take forever. :(

Twofold question. Is it at all reasonable to level past 60 before stormblood and (more towards relic but) would it be better to get yellow scrips at 60 or just use poetics? Me and a friend are doing as much of heavensward as possible before moving onto stormblood *gag* and I wanted to work on anima weapon for WHM glamour

As a brand new player this guide was not helpful at all, I have no idea what half the stuff is or where it is. The shops aren't even open to me.

Another great video :D I do have a question with crafters, what's best to use my crafter Soulstones for? Is there better ones than others or is it personal preference?

I always keep them on cooking, alchemy and goldsmith. But overall it's just personal preference as to which one you want the bonus on.

What is your suggestion for the DoH without a material delivery leve? Do the next 2 levels in Ishgard and try leve again?

I am leveling every crafting job at once. Started on Free Trial few months ago and got every crafting job to lvl 35. Then I made some HQ gear for myself. Started doing Ishgard Restoration about 2 weeks ago. It was mostly gathering all materials needed tbh. I leveled every job to lvl 53 with my 30-35lvl gear (only bought accesories from the market). At 53 lvl I made myself another set of gear and from that point used your rotations. I'm at lvl 63 at this moment and I'm gated by MSQ (still at the beggining of Stormblood). If you are wondering about gear, then you should just try doing the same as me. Next plan is to buy some BSM weapons, make weapons for other jobs myself, then gear.

can i literally just spend gil from 1-80 on the trade board to go lvl 80? + do easy quests? or is there going to be a grind of materials at some point on some crafting/DOH?

So tested this today and to get from 60 to 76 used up 800k gil and that because I went the cheapest route with crafting most of the stuff myself after checking the insane market board prices. Conclusion, use delivery at your geand company for slower over all, but a lot cheaper exp.

The biggest, and mostly only, CP gains are from accessories. Materia is ok but on my server it's costly af. So keep those updated always. Base is 180 and you get bit with levels.

I've been trying to level 60-70 with Kugane leves like you explain. However at 66 there no longer is a levequest with just a simple basic crafting material. So you have to level differently after 66.

I am late to this but for one, I just pushed through with the lvl 62 leves items until 70. On average I just needed about 25 items, except for alchemist and culinarian. They need like 60 items each due to the leve requiring an input of 3 items...

Is there no Grade 4 skybuilder craft macro? Been trying to find from 20 to 80 but no luck whatsoever. Plus i just started out as a crafter so i am a noob

The leve with the material requires level 62.

The last one you did i made some bad life decisions so I started with 1 mill gil and spent about 1.5 after running out and earning more

I just hit 50 not long ago and I wanted to get all my gathering and crafting to 50. I got all gathering to 50 (except fishing) using levequests. Crafting seems a lot more complicated. I don't understand what Ishgard restoration is or what the scips are. I don't have a lot of gil to invest in crafting other than what's at the guild vendors. Advice?

1m is not that bad, you can turn a couple thousand gil into 1m in a couple of days if you flip materia. Buy cheap yellow/purple materia and turn 5x (same tier) in for a random green/red/blue materia. Some tiers are better than others, depends on buy price for the yellow/purple materia.

pre 35~ just use whatever is inexpencive, 35+ get vintage set and meld it a little (shouldnt be too expensive) 51 get archaoskin set (cheaper than 50 set) late 50 is going to be a pain unless you do leves at 60 and 70 you get scrip gear Upgrade tools as you need, remember melds can be removed now so it should be cheap to meld craftmanship to keep gear for long periods

In terms of personal time investment the DoH beast tribe quests are definitely up there for the 50-80 grind. In terms of total real time from 50-80 it's not fast, but in terms of total real time You Put In, it's excellent, at around 1.5 levels in 5 minutes with no time spent on the market board or dealing with special materials. And that's not even mentioning the adorable stories and exclusive mounts you get from doing it.

Or you can do what I did: spent months doing tribal quests, staggered of course so every day you can do each expansion tribe with a different crafter. Of course doing all challege logs and custom deliveries each week so you can inch forward outside of that purgatory. That will remove from you all will to keep playing, and even your will to live, but IT'S FREEEE never again

As much as i love this game, i hate crafting progression, square managed to make it even more confusing and less intutive than legend of mana tempering or even golem logic. wish the game had others way of making a good amount of money

I gotchu booboo. Step 1: Level crafter to 50 Step 2: Go to MD and run backwards towards Rowena's place but stop when you hit the bazaar. Look for a guy named Talan and the dude next to him should have a quest above his head. Make sure you're wearing your crafter. Step 3: Do that quest and then Talan will have Master Books for you to get in exchange for HQ items. Step 4: craft HQ items & exchange for books you need. Step 5: For Master Book 3+, you need to use yellow scrip to purchase those from Scrip Exchange vendors. They're located in the main 3 cities (I know NG's is right outside where the market boards in the center are in Old Gridania). Can get yellow scrip by doing custom deliveries. :)

There is other ways of making money by just selling rare mats like the cloth from the Tsukuyomi fight for the new weapons , or the new sea cloth in treasure maps. Always keep an eye out for new stuff in patches as if you can get them early you will get a huge payday!

feel like a dumbass, was buying grade 2 mats since you used them in this video. but on my server grade 4 mats are infinitely cheaper and give more scripts.

At the time this was filmed, ishgard restoration was in phase 2, I wouldn’t be surprised If after the next expansion, we are on to phase 5 and grade 5 is what is in demand. I made this mistake gathering in the diadem and gathered grade 2 and 3 items without realizing they were worthless now.

gil is dam easy to make ill tell you a cost freee way i buy items for mnpc's say o buy a ring for 167 i sell for 20-85k on market or ill make new mules and watch starting cs and pick im here to make money that that CP ring stick it into your fc chest then log on your main sell on market for 1-2 million and repeat some servers its worth less like 100k but it sells well and easy to get

Remember the time that I told u during twitch, use leves bro. U were like nah... Ishgard is quicker. Fk no haha. If u got friends helping u make hq items that has 3x turn ins, u get to 80 in less than 1,5 hours with leves only. Ishgard macro and gear req is slow af compare to leves.
