I've been crocheting for 47 years but I am a beginner crafter and I am so loving watching crafting videos and I have been binge watching yours. I think I am in love with all of the Tim Holtz products. I only have one Tim Holtz product right now and that is one of the little Distress Ink pads. I don't even have the applicator, but I am hoping to get that next month. I have some vintage paper pads and vintage stickers and I am ready to start crafting up a storm. I also like making things with tumbling tower blocks.

I like to make lanterns with the blocks and I've also done desktop caddies for my pens and crochet hooks. I've also made a clock. Once I got the blocks put together for the clock, I mod modged a Dollar Tree gift bag that I cut up. So I have a pretty floral "Jenga" block clock. One of the lanters I made has a tap light in both the bottom and top and then I glued spring gingham and floral cardstock to it and then added some vintage stickers and put some Dollar Tree floral sprigs in the cavities. I showed it on my channel last week. @@SunsetCrafts

I love Tim Holtz stuff too but so pricey, you can also make your own with inexpensive stuff, I go to garage sales and can always find nice old papers, photos (but those are ok price wit Tims) shadow boxes etc 😊

Those window playing cards are adorable! I think each one is unique but I love the yellow rose the best-just because I love roses. Thanks for the inspiration.

Love this project! I do have a tip for when you are using split rings. Use a staple remover to open them and then slip the charm on. Saves fingernails!

Hi Katy, I actually have a split ring tool that I normally use for making junk journal jewelry but because these split rings were fairly soft, they were easy to open. But I truly appreciate the tip. Thank you so much!

Your channel is new to me and I'm also a beginner journaler, junk journal and all these fun paper crafting items. I've always enjoyed making things like sewing clothes, crocheting and all kinds of needle crafts. I love this project with playing cards and I just picked up a strange shape at my senior center. It's oval never saw that shape but I have regular cards. I can't wait to do this project and add it to my very small pile of ephemera. I enjoyed watching and listening to your soft voice. Love all of them!!! An have some round playing cards and used circle dies to make one with a hinged door. Used fabric for the hinge til I get my Temu order. LOVE the charms using the cards too!

I really like this technique of yours. TEMU has some great vintage papers and photos and other ephemera that would work perfectly for designing some awesome cards using your technique.
