This is random but I watch this guy who helps out people with really bad hoarding problems (because he's actually kind and understanding about it and works with the people instead of making it worse) and he's mentioned that almost all of them have some kind of creative hobby like crafting/knitting/woodworking etc. So there could be some kind of connection between the two.
