Got the same holster in black and love it m8. I actually made a back strap that runs across my lower back and attaches with velcro which is so much better than the belt straps it comes with also I never or hardly wear belts so for anyone who's interested in how I did that I'll be making a tutorial video very soon. I made one strap using elastic and one with leather both look as if it was sent to me that way.

Horizontal holsters are not reliable the holsters that they're making now they're retaining snaps are weak in a scuffle the snap could come loose and you can lose your weapon or a bad guy can get a hold of it vertical holsters are the way to go they're more secure

While I understand what you are saying I have to disagree a bit. 1. The snap on this holster is extremely secure. A. It snaps very well and has positive lock up. B. The location of the snap is In a great place where it is well protected and would need to be deliberately un-snapped. 2. This holster has great retention without the the break snap. 3. During a scuffle if you are on your back you horizontal holster now becomes a vertical holster which would aid in retention unless someone intentionally tried to disarm you. 4. If you are in a scuffle and the person on top of the other person then this would be the most dangerous position of losing your side arm... however if you are standing over a person in scuffle that would make you appear as the aggressor. You will be wanting to create separation ASAP which would reduce the risk of someone disarming you or your firesrm falling out exponentially. 5. While carrying the last thing you should be doing is getting into a scuffle. You should be practicing de-escalation tactics, and enhancing situational awareness to avoid these situations in the first place. Finally if confrontation can not be avoided then I would be 100% confident in thus Holsters retention. That is not to speak for all horizontal shoulder rigs... just this 1.
