I was camping in NE Georgia and had this video playing on my phone, when I was struck by lightning! ⚡️ Luckily, I was in my tent, but the lightning destroyed the tent poles, my tent (20” tear and from melting) and my iPhone 12 Pro was destroyed. Spent two days in the hospital for observation with minor burns and a terrible headache. Close call. I was surrounded by trees in the forest. Ranger said it was probably the metal in the tent poles that caused it. I’m not implying this specific video had anything to do with it obviously, just a strange experience and I could’ve literally died listening to this. Makes you reflect on life and all its good things.

I do like the fireplace with the thunder ⛈ and rain ⛈ and wind🌬. This is my favorite.

I think this is the best one on KZread. The rain flourishes , and low whine of the wind and the crackling of the burning wood create such a cosy atmosphere. All punctuated by those deep rumbling rolls of thunder. Five minutes of this and I'm relaxed.

A crackling fire is definitely one of those sounds that are good for the soul...

Last night, I put this on my 13 inch TV and put it on the bottom shelf of my book case in my bed room. I fell asleep with my headphones on ( my husband SNORES) Because it was playing on a screen and I had it on repeat, it never stopped . And when I woke up a few times it honestly looked like I had a fire going. It was PERFECT! My husband woke up and was afraid there was a fire. That was hilarious.

I Used To Live In An Old Log Cabin That Sounded Just Like This! Nice Quiet Peaceful Solitude! Wish I Was Still There! ⛈️🌬️

We just arrived to our room after the wedding reception. The Bride and Groom are on their way to their honeymoon (Jamaica I think) but we are here. They may be on their way to a tropical paradise but I am happy to be here with my significant other. We will enjoy popcorn cooked on this wonderful fireplace, a movie, and later snuggling under the covers listening to the wonderful sounds of this marvelous storm.

I have used this video every night for a prolonged period of time to go to sleep. I have had insomnia for years, but when I lay my head down on the pillow, I clear my mind, relax my body, and listen to the video and I always quickly fall asleep. I would say in less than 5 minutes. To me, this video is perfect with the combo of the crackling fire, the wind and the thunder. I sleep so well!

It is brilliant but the only thing is the sharp crackling of the fire is distracting to me and I wish that part was turned down and less prominent. I like the fire but the loud cracks are a bit too loud to me.

You recall making out the date between lightning flashes and took solace in knowing that it was months away. As you sit back on the couch, boots off and a new pair of woolen socks over your now toasty feet. You smile and take a deep long sigh of contentment. "How ..... Nice" You slightly startle yourself as you realize you haven't heard anything but inhuman howls and the drums of leaves as the lay in battle with an uncaring sky for what seemed too long. And decide to disturb your rest at the thought of something warm to drink. Reaching into your bag, kept close by just in case. You find the familiar touch of your canteen and juuust the right little premade kit you were looking for. Mere minutes later. Reclining on the couch, you cup your mug in your hand as you raise it to your lips. The warm scented tendrils slinking passed your lips as you take a nice warm sip. You feel the cold slowly retreating back, as the comes to a wrest in your lap. With Fett propped up on a small ottoman. Covered in blankets you say again softly... "How nice"

This is SO AWESOME. Crackling from the fire, thunderous roar from the heavens: Only thing missing is a nice glass of red wine.

This is at the top of the list now. At work with paperwork, home writing my book, or having this on our big TV during holidays. It's also the perfect time duration! It also brings up great memories of my Dad. He passed away in April. He always had a fire going in the workshop, and we all, always gathered next to the fire. Thanks for this.

I've got to confess that not only does this video help me fall asleep, but my cat Yorkie loves lying on my chest in bed purring and watching the laptop screen as though we're both snuggled up in front of a fire all nice and cosy, listening to a raging storm outside! A lovely SAFE feeling! xxx

watching this while my dad tries to fix our electric fireplace. What i hear right now is a mix of: "DANG NABBIT!! THESE FANCY FIREPLACES!!" And the sound of this video XD

I've spent many a night like this. Nothing but shelter, and a nice fire, and the sounds of the wind, and rain. Even now I find a certain sense of peace when I listen to that backdrop. Like no matter how the world may howl, its kept at bay, and you have all that you need. Having lost much, I can tell you that, that feeling; is priceless.

Still my favorite, love the howling wind with thunder! 🇺🇸
