CRABS!!! CATCHING, CLEANING, EATING!!! DMFD!!! Tasty Tuesday

Sarah and I pulled the traps and had a steamed crab picnic on the side of the Loxahatchee River near our home in Jupiter, Florida.
The seasoning I was using was Everglades Heat, absolutely amazing on crab!!!! get it here: www.evergladesseasoning.com/co...

probably the wife treats him real well too, it goes both ways. Look at the lady behind the fence, from the handful of crab she got, didn't even share one tiny piece with her male friend. Om nom mom, I love crab. Om nom nom. So good! Om nom nom yum! And never once gave him a piece. Gross.

I'm a Pacific islander and I have to admit that when you started "cleaning" the crabs, I was thinking to myself, "You're throwing away the best part..." Try squeezing some lime juice on the "gut part" as you call it, and a little splash of soy sauce and you might change your view. We usually will have a bowl of the soy sauce (Kikkoman is best IMO) with lime juice thinly sliced onion and hot peppers to taste instead of the traditional butter dipping sauce. If you try it,, let us know what you think about it or maybe you can incorporate it in one of your future vids... Enjoy and congratulations to you both in advance on your new baby!!!

I love your channel. I live in Panama City, my family and I use to go crabbing down town by the marina civic center. Which is the best place to go since no one can swim in the water because of how many stingrays and natural predators like jellyfish are lurking under the bridge. We go at night because that's when they're active and one time we caught some spider crabs (which we let go of course), a sting ray (that my dad removed the stinger from), and lots of jellyfish that turned different colors. We usually got about a whole basket full out of 3 baskets, in about 4-5 hours to feed the 3 of us. So if you ever come up to PC they have some amazing spots to catch some amazing seafood.

THE GUTS ARE DELICIOUS. I'm not gonna lie, I die a little inside whenever I see you pre-shell the crabs and throw away their tops haha. I don't typically eat the guts by themselves, but if you mix that yellow "butter" with a little bit of cooked rice right in it's shell it's really delicious. You should give it a try!

I always put a heaped tablespoon of 'brown sugar' in the water when cooking crabs. Blue swimmer crabs will taste even better. 100 an hour was the norm for them with a scoop or drop net. The old shells had to be disposed carefully, as the smell was vile.

I hate the guts. My favorite crab is sushi fried soft shell crab, so long as they take out the guts. I love crab but all we have here in CA is spiny lobster and very few eatable crab that I've ever caught. Nothing better than steak and lobster tail. Especially if you caught it yourself. Keep up the videos, love em. God bless. PS: I'd love to see more gun stuff. Pistols, rifles... whatever.
