Brother, I'm down here in Texas and new to the crabbing business but I've already gotten my heart knee deep into it and really need some pointers. Is there any way that I could get in touch with you and maybe bounce ideas off of you?

make your catch bag out of chicken wire and it becomes a dump box. Or make two chicken wire catch boxes and detach at the end of a run and put the empty one on. Process the full one while filling the second one.

I designed it but had a shop build it. Now there's a culling table so crabs don't fall on the floor

@@kelvinlassiter97 yeah. Crabs are amazing only if do it yourself. The stores sell you light white bellies and small. Curious how much ya think you put into your rig? I've always thought of trying that. You crab where at? Thanks bro David

Trotlines seems effective, but a lot of work. Back in the 70's and 80's we would go jacking for them at night using Coleman lanterns, caught tons of them and no bait needed

Put drops on the line. Plus you got the necks about 8-10' apart. Put them at 5'.

Did you buy that diper or make it your self because that's nice and I'm trying to buy one just like that with out spending to much money

When I came up with this idea about 9 yrs ago myself I contacted MD DNR and was told that an auto dipper was illegal in MD waters, did that change ???

Just do a search for how to set up a trotline etc on here. There are plenty of videos.
