Stuffed mushrooms are on of my favorite appetizers Thomas!😍 I love getting them when I go out to eat!😋 Olive Garden is one of my favorite places to eat them!😘 I've made them a few times and sometimes I'll bake the mushrooms for a few minutes before adding the filling to make sure they get done, especially when using the really big mushrooms!😉 I like to get the balls of mozzarella cheese and put thick slices on top for a nice creamy cheesy top!🤤 I haven't used cream cheese before but I can see how it would more cheesiness to the mushrooms!😚 Sorry this grosses you out Catherine but I'm with Thomas on this one and could eat stuffed mushrooms every week!☺️ And I appreciate you including this recipe for all of us who love stuffed mushrooms!🤩 Thanks for sharing another great recipe Thomas and Catherine!🥰

Oh yes!

I love just about anything with mushrooms, hardly anyone else I know does though. Really I think my favorite appetizer is a spinach & artichoke dip. I could make a meal out of just that, especially when it’s served warm with melted cheese on top.

I can't eat seafood and I don't like mushrooms.

While it’s true mushrooms absorb water a quick rinse under cold running water and immediately drying with a paper towel will not absorb much if any. It will get them clean however. I have recently found a “mushroom brush” with soft enough bristles to clean but not damage.

I'm going to have to try this with portobello mushrooms ❤

How long have you been doing cooking videos?

Absolutely love crab stuffed mushroom caps! But I use bigger portabella mushroom caps so there is more filling! And add some old bay seasoning to enhance the crab. So happy to see Thomas helping you out!

I think there’s a problem with KZread (possibility it’s been hacked). For the past 2-3 days I’ve noticed that any video I open all have the same number of “Likes”. Todays number is 55. I think it was 234 yesterday. Since likes determines part of your revenue you may want to reach out and see what’s happening. Just a thought.

Yes, Thomas wears Columbia shirts, he gets them from the Columbia store here in town.

Sort of unrelated, but sometimes I do like to wash mushrooms with water because I feel like when they're cooked they'll release mushroom flavored liquid. Wouldn't be good for this recipe, though.

I'm allergic to shellfish so I'm sorry I can't make this it looks delicious

@karenchicks2392 cooked Italian sausage can be used in place of crab. It’s really delicious. I’ve done this when crab was too pricey. Hope this helps.

But, this year, I'm having wrist surgery 2 days before... so, my 20 year old daughter is going to cook our Thanksgiving dinner this time.
