    I think the reason Sutan can speak so proficiently for her age is because Moe talks to her all the time. Not only that, but she talks to Sutan as if she were an adult, not changing her tone or language for her while still being age-appropriate. Kids tend to benefit much more with developing speaking proficiency when they learn the language that adults actually use. What I’m tryna say is: Moe, you are a very good mother!

  • @TheDibachan

    @TheDibachan

    Absolutely right! Most of the time adults always change the tone into 'baby talks' when speaking with baby/kids.

  • @jameskay4806

    @jameskay4806

    That’s natural to change your tone tho. Like the same thing you would do to dogs. Sutan’s mom still does that high pitch voice sometimes. Kids can still be great speakers either way they were brought up

    @@jameskay4806 good point, though I should probably also clarify: when I meant “change of tone” I meant more like speaking in a very animated, almost musical way. If you know what The Wiggles are, I remember watching an interview with the Yellow Wiggle on KZread. She says that while her tone is softer with kids in concerts and TV, it is still the same inotation and language that she’d use with an adult, which freaks kids out less. This appears to be exactly what Sutan and Moe are demonstrating.

    I love the way you handled her crying when you took her bread away. Instead of getting mad, you gave her a choice to make - rice or bread - and you reasoned with her and praised her for making that choice. You are teaching me so much about how I want to interact with my child if/when I have one!

    When Sutan said, "Today..." my heart melted!! Children absorb so much information without us knowing it, and she's imitating you so well because you speak to her like another adult! I remember an instance where my ESL kindergarten student would use the phrase "Actually..." correctly not because I taught her, but because she imitated how I spoke!!! What a lovely family you guys are. I am amazed how you treat Sutan with such respect and care. All moms should aspire to be like you!

    Mom & daughter's cuteness super duper hyper overloaded...........just out of words, you have taken your relationship altogether to that level where nobody can.

    Sutan is so smart and absolutely adorable! OMG! She is a joy to watch right along with your wonderful videos! Much love from America, Statesboro, Ga to be exact!😀 Japanese culture and cuisine has been an interest of mine since I was a little girl! I remember learning how to count to 10 in Japanese when I was in the 2nd grade as a child. My absolute most favorite movie is “Memoirs of a Geisha”. All of your recipes look so yummy! “Oishi!” I’m dying to try them for myself.
